I choose a time period in the future... by at least 1000 years. So... perhaps 3506. Why? Just to see how it all shakes out. 1000 to 1500 years might be enough time for humans to actually overcome human nature and truly advance.

I would say the 1950's. I have always been facinated by the dress, the styles and the music of that era. Of course I do not like the sexism that was a lot thicker then than it is now.
But, oh well :) How about a time that was like the 50's but not as sexist?

i would choose to be born when religion started so that i could find out why it started in the first place. What would be even better would be if i could go back in time then i could take my laptop and come back and download my findings to people. maybe it could end all of the confusion. Then again you'll always have someone that won't believe you even if you video tape it.

About 1850, 15 years before the Civil War, despite the War at that time, times were not as complicated as they are now.
Harder yes, as far as making a living, but simpler way of life, not that I think I should become an Amish or anything like that, but I do admire them.

Perhaps the 50's but I'd prefer none of them, to be honest. Their minds are too closed. Heck, I'd be burnt at the stake if I lived before 1900.
