The bible is just a book someone wrote, and was manipulated over hundreds of years by the Church so it is very bias.
And just for the record, I am a straight guy and I think homosexuality is natural and is NOT a sin. The real sin is judging people for who they are and who they were born to be. There is nothing wrong with being gay. Actually gay people are the most compassionate, loving people I've ever met, so in my opinion they are even closer to God, because God is all compassionate & loving.

and furthermore, Not everything that Jesus sais in the Bible was actually said by him. Some of it was made up by the Roman Catholic Church for their own agenda and beliefs.

I believe you're right. I personally don't believe in the Bible because I don't believe the writings came straight from God himself. One place that speaks about homosexuality is the book of Leviticus, which is, in my opinion, a large compiling of BS. Another section that speaks out against homosexuality (supposedly) is the story of the Sodomites. However, I don't believe that story revolvs around rape and not homosexuality.

I do know there's another one that blatantly says homosexuality is wrong, but because I don't believe the Bible is truth, I don't believe it's correct.

IF homosexuality is a sin, then who is to say it's worse than any other sins?

God does love gay people, and that's it. Who's to say they know anything more about "Judgmenet Day" than anyone else? If someone's gay and someone else lies, which one gets the worse punishment? Nobody knows, and anyone who says they know are fooling themselves.

Oh you are sadly mistaken my friend.
All of the Bible is the truth. God used human beings to physically pen the biblical text. But remember God is the author, they are His words. The Bible is inspired by God. The Old Testament was originally written in Hebrew. The New Testament was originally written in Greek (with a few portions in aramaic). Learn those languages so you can read it for yourself in it's original. Check out some good commentaries (NIV Application commentary, Anchor Bible Commentary, New International Commentary on the New Testament (also one on OT), New International Greek Testament Commentary).

The Bible is inerrant and infallible. Inerrant means it is incapable of having errors, and infallible means incapable of being false. So this means that God protected the Bible while it was being translated to other languages and other translations.

Check out these verses about homosexuality:
Genesis 19:1-29
Leviticus 18:22
Leviticus 20:13
Romans 1:26-27
1 Corinthians 6:9
1 Corinthians 6:13
1 Timothy 1:8-10

I'm sure you've been told your wrong in your beliefs. Sorry to say that I agree with them, your wrong. The Bible continues to demonstrate that it has not changed over the thousands of years. There are documents that have been discovered that prove this. Many historians have tried to dispute the Bible and have not been able to produce tangible evidence. On the other hand artifacts and historical documents have been discovered that prove the writings of the Bible should be considered historical and accurate.

Homosexuality has been condemned since the beginning of time itself. There are many examples of its condemnation in the Bible. It is not natural or the way God intended sexual relationships to be. God created animals of two different sexes. Can you name any animals that partake in same gender sex? It's not something your born with, that's societies way of excusing a behavior that should not be accepted.

If you believe in the Bible, and consider yourself a Christian than you also need to believe that homosexuals are against God's will and a sin. That doesn't mean that Christians are asked to hate homosexuals. The should not fellowship with homosexuals or condone their behavior in any way though. Hate the sin, love the sinner approach.

Just wanted to know where you got your information that the Bible was written by "just someone", and where did "the fact" come from that said it was manipulated? I'm only asking because we hear that from time to time, yet have never heard the source.
As far as being gay...I have a few friends that are, and I don't judge them. It is a sin, but not mine to determine. Unfortunately, your opinion in this matter doesn't count. Only God's does.

then dont go on the bible-go on science. that has more evidence. homosexuality is unnatural. it can not create. it is also the origin of STDs. it is a strong sexual desire. i never wanted to be homosexual-but many do. i think it begins as a curiousity, but then grows. yes it is a biblical sin probably because it goes against natural order. God is compassionate, but also requires morals and discipline. does that mean a gay or formerly gay person cant go to heaven-i dont think so. but he or she will have to answer for their homosexuality as a sin. so yes there is something wrong with being gay.

just about anything said in the bible is contradicted later on in a different book of the bible. example : eye for an eye / turn the other cheek.
who really cares if christians think homosexuality is a sin. they are reading a 2 to 3 thousand year old book that has rewritten, restranslated, and gone throught many language changes, it can hardly be looked at as accurate. i doubt jesus's name was really that. it was probably mike, but it was just translated wrong.
and if christians hate gays so much and it's wrong. why are so many priests gay?

"God made me to be a homosexual, so He doesn’t want me to change."

Homosexuals argue that they did not make a conscious decision to be that way, so it must be natural. They are born that way—just as all of us are born with a sin nature and sinful desires (Ephesians 2:1– ). Tell them that it is natural for them, and for all of us, to be tempted to do things that God says are wrong. In the same way, pedophiles and adulterers (alcoholics, drug addicts, etc.) don’t make a conscious decision to "choose" that self-destructive lifestyle, they simply give in to their sinful desires. However, although sin is natural for unbelievers, that doesn’t mean God wants them to remain that way. God can set them free from their sinful nature (Romans 7:23–8:2), give them new desires (Ephesians 4:22–24), and help them withstand temptations (1 Corinthians 10:13). See 1 Corinthians 6:9– 1 footnote.

"God made me like this. Sin is His fault!"

If this won’t work in a civil court, it certainly won’t work on Judgment Day. Even with an expert defense lawyer, it would take a pretty inept judge to fall for the old "God made me do it" defense. We are responsible moral agents. The "buck" stopped at Adam. He tried to blame both God and Eve for his sin; Eve blamed the serpent. It is human nature to try, but it doesn’t work with God

obviously you do not know what you are talking about..who is judging? Homosexuality is not natural but believe whatever you want..it is between that person and God when the time comes, God is the only one who will judge. And just for arguments sake...some of the most hateful, catty, unloving people that I know are gay...unhappy people can be that way.

I'd think it was wrong regardless of what the Bible says.

Additionally, please remember that the Church says that being a homosexual is not a sin per se, the sin is acting upon those impulses in a sexual manner. The same sin applies to heterosexual people that aren't married within the Church.

What exactly has brought you to the conclusion that homosexuality is natural? There is still yet be any evidence that it is anything more than a sexual perversion of the mind.

And yes homosexuals are people. They are living in sin like the rest of us so who are we to judge them? But that doesn't mean that homosexual acts aren't sin.
