Once you have tasted and seen God is good and had a relationship with him but hoose to sin and choose the world... then you are desensitized to the holy things of God..if you have any worry about ifthis could happen to you then you are ok.. because you wouldnt ask if your heart was darkened.
it basically means becoming apostate.. in hebrews 10 there is more

They are blinded from the truth and so live a life not in accordance to God's teaching and their hearts are hardened from all this and lack of knowledge.

Religious arrogance.
It means that if you continue down the wrong path long enough to convince yourself that your ways are good, your heart becomes hardened and insensitive to the truth and the basics of the gospel. Don't create your own truth!

It's referring to the kinds of people who refused to be taught by God through His Word, the Bible, and therefore they don't live a Godly way of life and they don't understand certain things because they aren't being taught by God (ie-lack of knowledge).

you can see it all over this category. People insult and defy God Almighty, and think they are so clever, while their ignorance oozes out like pus in an open sore. They refuse to believe so their eyes have been blinded, their ears stopped up, because their hearts are stone cold dead.
