When we do have scriptural evidence to back up our beliefs.

Example: Communion

We believe that the bread and wine are physically changed to the body and blood of Jesus. Why? Because Jesus said, "Take this all of you, and eat it, this IS my blood." Jesus would not have said "is" if it weren't true. This line is said in 3 of the 4 Gospels.

Honoring Mary:

We don't WORSHIP the Virgin Mary. We worship God, but we honor Mary as the mother of all Christians. We ask her to pray for us, much like you would ask a friend to pray for you. Jesus states to one of the Apostles that Mary was his mother, and to take care of her. Also, in Revelation, Mary was mentioned as a women clothed in the sun, with the moon under her feet, and a crown of twelve stars (she's in the sky).

Sacraments:

Many of our other sacraments are biblically referenced. Like the "Annointing of the sick". James says that we should call the priests of the church to "annoint them with oil"

A little fellow got a lat start to school one morning so he took a shortcut. He snagged his pants on a barbed wire fence, ripping a hole in his seat. He searched through his pockets and found one safety pin. He pinned up his pants as well as he could and hurried on to school. School was already in session when he arrived. As he hung up his coat, his teacher said " Johnny, I see you're a little behind". "Yeah" said johnny, " but if i had another pin you couldnt".

I mean I can be thankful to my parents for having me, and thankful to the farmers for raising such a nice fat turkey. But, is that un-atheist of me to observe this holiday? Just curious what my fellow atheists think about it. Go ahead and bash me bible-humpers, if you want to, I will ignore you.

Normally this doesnt happen even for one person. But two? If you are by yourself you just sit silently ...if you are the type that can take it in. But if you in a group there is so much to conquer. I mean most people are out to prove that paranormal does not exist because it scares them so much. So if someone tasked you to do it, how would you witness a paranormal event with someone else if you were already convinced that it exists and you run the risk that they may not be able to sense it?

I would give everything I have up for HIM. My life- There is nothing more important than our salvation in Him. He is my Rock and my shield- And I was made to worship Him and Glorify Him. What would you give up?

The Bible teaches that man IS a soul, not that man HAS a soul (Genesis 2:7; Genesis 46:18; Joshua 11:11; Acts 27:37; Romans 13:1). So, that being the case, why do so many people still think that we HAVE a soul, and that it lives on after death, when the Bible doesn't teach that at all?

i think the bible is just a glorified novel and thus the biggest selling novel in the world.
it would be nice to say god made the world but in reality it was science.

If he approaches someone who is offended by sexual remarks he makes, does the person not have a valid complaint?

If Borat approached an Amish person and verbally sexually assualted them, should we just excuse Borats behavior as ok in the name of comedy?

An inside source told Britain's The Sun paper that, "Sacha couldn't resist playing the fool as Borat, but he picked the wrong person. I guess this guy thought he was being attacked by someone unstable and lashed out. Sacha is very lucky he didn't get a much worse beating."

Borat punched in the face after offending someone on the street, stating he wanted to have sex with his clothes.
Sacha Baron Cohen was shaken by the incident, though he did not sustain any serious injuries. Monsters and Critics reports that "Film bosses are pleading with Cohen, 35, to stop posing as Borat on US streets to avoid further violent attacks."
