Yes and no, the bible came from God, who made science. The bible was a good idea, but then man kind came along changed it, poorly translated it, and did not understand what he was writing, so wrote only what he knew about. God made science, well the problem here is that when people read the bible they always think of the people in the bible, and the things what are suppose to have happened, in today's terms, Adm and Eve, what were they/ Two humans, like we are today, created in God's image, OK but what is God's image, he is not a being, he does not have human form, he is far beyond our understanding. Science can not prove that God did not make the world, it can only prove it wasn't done as stated in the Bible, to understand God, we have to stop thinking in today's terms, no one can prove either way that he does exist, or in fact there is an afterlife, although with what I have seen and done i believe without doubt, but no mater what prove is given, science will always come up with an excuse, I ask science to prove that God, and the afterlife does not exist, the answer we can't,

Science still leads back to the Big bang wich is just an athiestic view of creation. The Bible has been a bestseller for 2,000 years and I don't think it's going anywhere. Its not a novel if it's true so it's more like a bestselling rule book but if it were just a novel a lot of people around the world would be in trouble. But since it's not we don't have to worry.

The Bible is a collection of stories, but they are based on facts. Many people have tried to disprove the Bible but none have been successful. Historians and archeologist continually find more and more that prove the Bibles accuracy as a historical document. There is also more evidence proving the Bible has not undergone rewording than any other document from that time era. If I'm not mistaken there are actual existing documents that confirm this that were written less than 300 years after the Bible was written. The earlist document found of Homers "Illiad" is over a thousand years old, yet nobody doubts it's validity. People don't understand that during that time the written word was treasured much more than it is today.
As far as science making the world, who made science? As our technologies increase and we can dig deeper into our world scientist over and over again are reaching the conclusion that nothing as complex as our world could have been created by random occurances. One scientest relates it to having a bomb go off in a dump yard and having a computer assembled as a result of the blast. Not very likely is it.

Anything's as real as you make it.
Einstein's equations were just neo-fiction(theories) until someone made an A-Bomb and turned part of it into fact!
Einstein says bricks can stand still or fall upwards.
Jesus cured with a touch today we have CPR
Maybe one day Einstein and the Bible will meet head on and man will figure out how to walk on water.
Does that prove the Bible to be truth? I doubt you'll ever get an Atheist to agree with that!
If God came to Earth Atheists would call it mass hypnosis.
Ever see that Twilightzone episode about survivors of a crashed ship awaiting rescue. It comes and the leader of the survivors has issues with the Captain of the ship that is there to rescue them. In the end he hides out in the caves after being warned "No other ship will come!"
I once asked the Atheists what they would do if God did come to save everyone and they, too, we welcome. Would they go to "heaven" and a few said "given that choice, do you think I'm crazy!"
But I wonder, would there be hold outs. Those who hide in caves even though Man, God and Jesus tells them, there will be no other comings, once we leave you are here for good!
I think there will.
I think some atheists are so firmly entrenched in their own lack of belief system that they are as looney as any religious nut and they will put their head in the ground and say this is not happening there is no God, there is no Jesus, theres is no HEaven, tomorrow I will wake up and all with be normal again.

Hey! Harry Potter is real!! I believe it because it says so in a book and if it is in a book then it just has to be right, doesn't it?
In an episode of Red Dwarf, one of my fave comedies, they took the mickey by saying the church was in uproar because a missing page from the bible had been found. It said - To my dearest Mindy, hope you like the book, or something along those lines.

Trying putting something from it into practice and see for yourself.
By the way where's the proof is was science. You are just following a group of people who have a theory but no actual proof. As time goes by they keep getting it wrong over and over. That all they go by to make a living on.
A few years ago it was reported in the news that thy got it wrong about the age of the universe by a few hundred million years.
Are you going to still believe someone who made a big mistake llike that. I'm sure if God made that mistake, many would instantly attack without a question of a doubt. Man make this mitake but people blindly continue to believe in their (our) limited capacity.

it's real - old testament, new testament. every word. everything happened just like it's written in the book. i can't be doing with these christians that say you should interpret it in this or the other way usually to cover up some awful anti-semitic or sexist or homophobic rant contained therein. i, of course, bury my head in the sand and choose to ignore the danger of not following the teachings from this great book. how do i sleep at night ?

Harry Potter didn't send his only son to die for my sins. Science didn't to anything to better my relationship with God. Neither you or anyone else will ever convince me God doesn't exist or that the Bible is just another novel. My faith and experiences with Him proven otherswise...
I pray you find God and true understanding...
