I ask questions, to get many points of views. I may not agree with. But the fact is, we all are to see that consideration is necessary! If that's not the way you were raised then, I do see why. Be aware of the way in which you speak to one another. I mean to offend no one and honor all. Why is the world looking, for more reasons to destroy (MANKIND). Oh yea, it's not a Sin to Misspell.

I am a born again Christian and some of what I see here really makes my heart heavy.

Please, I urge you brothers, sisters! Let us stop preaching and start practicing Love. God's will is to Love one another. He wasnt just talking about other Church people!

Non Believers do NOT want to be preached at I have found. So why do we preach at them?? This is not from the spirit of God but from the will of man and the religious system. Can we not show them Christianity practiced? Why just preaching??

What would Jesus think of how we speak to others here? These are God's children, speak in love!

Why do we judge others beliefs? Others lives? Jesus said "you should not judge"

I beg of you, practice it, dont preach it! See how you feel for one week, if its worse, go back to your old ways! your spirit will awake!

Stay away from questions instigating fights. Let people squabble amongst themselves!

I BEG YOU, this is from my heart! Unbelievers can be respected and loved! Try??

Love David

I can't believe that the Catholic Church is so rich and yet it doesn't sell off some of those riches to help these underpriviliged countries. Why ask it's parishs to donate money when they have so much already? Do they really need all those lovely outfits? Christ was a simple man shouldn't they be following suit?

trap us into angry and Unchristian responses, and we simply began to ask and answer peaceful and honestly put questions. What if Christians asked questions we all have about scriptures, faith life and practice, theology, and Christian living.

Imagine how much more peaceful the R and S section would be, and how much our blood pressure would go down ,if we simply left the haters and baiters (and that includes so called Christian haters and baiters) to their own devices. Imagine what this board would be like if we as Christians also asked intelligent, curious, and loving questions about faith paths that are different than ours?

We aren't going to convince the haters and baiters of anything at all, and clearly they are in no place to want to hear the message, and we are in no kind of relationship with them where we could be of any help.

So why don't we take the high road and discuss faith issues. The baiters would then get bored. imagine the peaceful, intelligent board.

JUVENILES!

1. Do not speak without thinking. You should only speak once you have pondered over what you wish to say and you are convinced that it will not be badly received.

2. It is a sin to address a person or speak of him in the following terms: "he has no îmân", "may Allah's punishment, curse, or anger descend on a certain person", "may he enter hell", etc. It is a sin to speak in this manner irrespective of whether one is addressing a human or an animal. If the person who has been addressed in this manner does not deserve such remarks, all these curses will actually descend on the person who uttered them.

3. If anyone addresses you in this useless manner, you have the right to reply in the same way. However, you cannot exceed what that person says. If you exceed, you will be committing a sin.

4. Do not be two-faced whereby you "play according to the tune" of one person when you are in his company, and according to the "tune" of another person when in the latter's company.

5. Don't ever back-bite nor should you listen to such back-biting and tale-bearing.

6. Never ever speak a lie.

7. Do not praise a person directly nor should you exaggerate in praising him in his absence.

8. Don't ever involve yourself in ghîbah. Ghîbah means speaking in the absence of a person in such a way that if he were to hear it, he would be grieved. This is irrespective of whether what you say is the truth or not. If what you say is false, it is regarded as slander or defamation. This is even more sinful.

9. Do not argue with a person. Do not try to give precedence to what you have to say.

10. Do not laugh excessively as this causes the illumination of the heart (and countenance) to disappear.

11. If you have made ghîbah of a person, seek his forgiveness. If you are unable to do so, make du‘â-e-maghfirah on his behalf. In doing this, there is hope that you will be forgiven on the day of judgement.

12. Do not make false promises.

13. Do not laugh in such a way that the other person feels insulted or offended.

14. Do not be boastful of something that you own or a quality which you possess.

15. Do not occupy yourself with poems and poetry. However, if the subject matter is not contrary to the Sharî‘ah and you occasionally quote a few lines when making du‘â or when advising someone, there is no harm in this.

16. Do not mention things that you hear from here and there because the majority of such things are false

It doesn't matter what the conditions are behind a commandment from God, it's the act itself that I find abhorrent – I don’t care why God tells a person to dash a baby against a rock the act is barbaric – I don’t care if cannibalism is the result of a natural famine or God-made, eating children is barbaric – and, I don’t care how you try and justify the actions of a fictional God, the acts described in the Bible are inhumane and barbaric. You can attack me all you want and express outrage that I didn’t do a spell check, or you take a step back and honestly/critically try and understand why you based your life on such a barbaric book.
And I don't care if it's all just symbolism - if it is, the book was written by sick people - there's just no way to get around it.

What does the word "son" means in this context, if God didn't marriage and had offsprings?

Remember: Christ was not created in Mary. Accorded to theology he is the Eternal Son of God, who exists forever.

What is the meaning of "son" in this theology then?
