Yeah I've noticed that on here too. Whenever Muslims quote the Quran on here, it always seems to be in Elizabethan English. Same with the Book of Mormon. (makes it sound just like the Christian Bible).

Woooah! The Quran was written in Arabic. As far as translations go there are lots and many new ones being published all the time - which should be more up-to-date with the English.

"Old" English is a bit of a generalisation - read a bit of Shakespeare and a bit of Chaucer and you'll get an idea of how much it has changed. If you go right back to the Anglo-Saxon languages its completely incomprehensible to us, whilst 19th century English is "a bit old fashioned".

Quran is not written in old english. It was originally written in arabic, but they do have plain english versions available for american muslims, and new english speaking converts.

No, it's written in Arabic. Most Muslims who have a Quran have it in Arabic, even if they don't know Arabic. I have a Muslim friend who has a Quran in Arabic, but does not know Arabic. She can read it, but doesn't comprehend.
It has been translated to English in modern times. You can find them on the internet.

The original quran (qur'an, koran, etc) was supposedly written originally in "Perfect Arabic" (which has been shown to be NOT the case) about 200 years after Muhammed invented islam and allah.

There are translations, and English is one. Not sure about "old English" tho.
