I have seen in many movies people, by using some techniques, communicating with those living in heaven. Is there really any such method or are these just flights of fancy? Secondly, say there is such a method, can the person using it decide with whom he/she wants to communicate? For example, can a person, provided he/she knows how to do it, talk with say, Napoleon today?

I'm asking coz it has changes many of its rules.

They use to believe that Jews killed Jesus
women use to cover their heads
Women were not allowed to talk or preach in church
Homosexualy was not accepted (its kind of accepted now)
Christians are not killing "apostates" anymore, etc

The word "homage" to "worship"? i hav older bibles and where the disciples made "homage" to Jesus they now "worship" him in the newer bibles.

The word "homage" means paying respects. In ancient times this was done by kneeling down infront of someone. Like when you kneel down infront of a king.

I think no one has the right to take anothers life! Only God has the right to give and take life! I am not saying he should not be punished but i think life in prison with hard labor is a better option. I do not believe in the death penalty for ANY reason! It is only God that can take someones life!! I personally believe the death penalty is legalized murder. I welcome all your answers whether you agree with me or not as everyone has the right to believe what they want and i would not force my view on anyone. xx

Mock Christians if they sin. And then mock them if they are good kind hearted souls who help the needy and are possibly (in the eyes of the atheist) gullible, because they give without caring whether it is reciprocated or even appreciated.

Where is the logic in that?

If you criticize bad behavior, then you should applaud good behavior.

Which are the questions that a Hebrew would address to a Christian? I like the candor with which a Hebrew would answer to a Christians's questions. Now I would be happy to feel, and where possible even replying to the questions that a Hebrew would address to a Christian. And I would be curious to know if the these questions are the same that he would ask to a Catholic. I suppose that most questions would have Paul of Tarsus as subject. I begin to mention the difference between a Catholic and a Christian as me by expressing my thoughts on Paul of Tarsus . In the 21-st verse of the Gospel of Thomas (gospel not recognized by the Catholic Church) is written like this: Mary asked Jesus, "What are your disciples like?" He said, "They are like little children living in a field that does not belong to them. When the owners of the field come, they say, 'Give us back our field.' And those take off their clothes in order to give it back to them, and they return them the field. .... "

We have all heard and seen the polarizing capability of Islam. But what about Christianity? is it any better wheb the 'good book' says:

You must kill those who worship another god. Exodus 22:20

Kill any friends or family that worship a god that is different than your own. Deuteronomy 13:6-10

Kill all the inhabitants of any city where you find people that worship differently than you. Deuteronomy 13:12-16

Kill everyone who has religious views that are different than your own. Deuteronomy 17:2-7

Kill anyone who refuses to listen to a priest. Deuteronomy 17:12-13

Kill any false prophets. Deuteronomy 18:20

Any city that doesn’t receive the followers of Jesus will be destroyed in a manner even more savage than that of Sodom and Gomorrah. Mark 6:11

Jude reminds us that God destroys those who don’t believe in him. Jude 5

When i went to study it in more detail, I started to believe less in it "truth"? I have rea through, and studied, the old testament but still can't see it's connection to the New testament (especially Paul letters). All the prophets always said we should worship God ALONE, even Jesus said that. Why still are christians worshipping Jesus?
In the bible the term "son of God" always refers to God's servants. Why do christians think its literal when it comes to Jesus? Even peter, Jesus's apostle, said in the book of ACTS that Jesus was just a man, Gods servant and the messiah.

What happened between Muslim, Christian and Jews? I'm Muslim, so I'm looking for an answer why "they" should have let "it" happen? I don't ask them to respect us, I just want them to ignore us and let us be. So, please stop disturbing us because we're not terrorists, ever!! I have a lot of Christian friends but they respect me just like I respect them. So be it...let live in peace then!
