Does that say anything about humanity, or does it say something about the nature of this being called Satan? (maybe satan isn't powerful or even a real being)??

Since ancient times dieties and gods have been worshipped.
All of them devoid of todays God or Allah. Was it for the purpose of crowd control by 'religious' lawmakers of the day or is there an inherrant god need built into man?

Do you have an explanation that includes God when earthquakes, tsunamis, tornados, blizzards, ice storms and fires happen?

Or do you allow the proven, scientific explanations take the credit?

In 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 the Bible speaks about the coming of “The Wicked One” or the Anti-Christ. It refers that “deceit” will be used as his source of power and says:
3 Do not let anyone deceive you in any way.... 9 The Wicked One will come with the power of Satan 10 and use every kind of wicked deceit on those who will perish. They will perish because they did not welcome and love the truth so as to be saved. 11 And so God sends the power of error to work in them so that they believe what is false. (Emphasis added) 12 The result is that all who have not believed the truth, but have taken pleasure in sin, will be condemned. (St. Jerome Catholic Study Bible)

So error (erroneous ideas) is what leads anyone and even whole societies into doing things they should or should not do. If Satan can not subdue a persons will into disobeying God, he resorts to trying to deceive a person into believing something that is false. Even Jesus Christ was tempted by Satan quoting scriptu

Would not the philosophy forum be better suited to your queries, since you have no claim to a belief in religion? No disrespect intended.

"I have a relationship with God, he tells me not to talk to Melissa and he tells me to see whats up with Bobby"

That your relationship with God?

Ok, its something more, fine. Take your time and give a thoughtful specific answer (insert Jepordey theme)

Notice how there is rarely ever any specifics about conversation with God, its always in prose. Right? Ex: "The Lord 'revealed' to me X and Y". Whoa buddy, slow down, dont leave out the key parts now....please go into detail about exactly how the 'revealtion' occured?

"well, I just knew he did, I was on the toliet and the cat screetched just at the moment I was asking God about what to do about Susan".

Ok, so that stood out to you as something beyond normal human experience? In other words, its not equally likely that you could be sitting on a bench and think the same thought, without this neat little God rapport, and hear a cat screetch?

Have you studied "selective attention" as a principle in psych?

I was doing research and I found that people of the Hindu faith believe that there is one God but it is manisfested many many many different deities. Most of whom are worshiped, prayed to and have their different days. I go to a Catholic school where they ell me the same thing. There is God who is manisfested in 3 different dieties, Father, Son, Holy Spirit. And also they ask saints for different needs and have many many saints to represent various things.
I was brought up in a Holiness church were I learned that God is a spirit and he has a son who became man to for us. At school they said, Jesus is God and also God himself. If Jesus is also God, how can he also be the Son of God. They truly tried to make me believe this. And one last thing, one of things that makes God, God is he cant die. Jesus did.

It is estimated that up to 50% of all fertilizations end in a spontaneous abortion (miscarriage)

It would appear that God is the most prolific abortionists of all.

Should we not follow his example?
