I don't know which technology you are referring to, but are you talking about Biotechnology? I can give you 2 answers. Yes & No.
Technology is good that it helps humanity, bad if it destroys humanity. In the case of Biotechnology, about stem cells and all, I don't know. Should the human race stop finding a cure for natural disease? Does God wants us to suffer from natural disease? If we suffer, does God suffer as well? (on this one, yes, God does suffer too.) If We're are sad, does it make God sad too? (and yes, God is sad too.)
You see, sometimes technology is good if it helps humanity. Will or Should God take away the technology if it helps humanity? I'm sure you already know what my anwser is. Good enough, yes?

And I suppose you are gonna figure out what to do with the thousands of tons of nuclear waste we have produced that will be toxic for at least another 2,000 years. By the way, the life of the containers holding it is only about 35 years.
