Going to church doesn't make you Christian anymore than being in a garage makes you a car

Going to church doesn't make you a Christian, but being Christian, often makes you go to church. Like being in a garage, no matter how long, won't ever make you a car. But if you were a car, i guess you'd have a lot of chances to spend long in a garage. Now like with Christians, there are a lot of car brands. What Christian brand are you?

Going to church is not the way that makes one a Christian just like claiming to be a Christian does not make them a Christian, But what makes a Christian is taking in or learning the truth from God's word the Bible (John17:3) and then puting that accurate knowledge in to practice and doing God's will! it is not simply a matter of taking or letting Jesus into your life, and being emotional about it emotions are not necessarily the truth How true that illustration is in your statement it illustrates that very clearly going to church does not make someone a Christian!

Going to church does not make you anything but a church goer, people think that all church goers are christians, it is a falacy.

A christian is someone who walks closely with Jesus, in that he strives to live his life as closely as he can to Jesus' teachings, you may be surprised to find out what so called church going christians are really up to. Didn't you hear about Haggart yet, there you go then, at least he repented, or maybe that was just for show like Baker a big shew as Ed Sullivan used to say, God only knows for sure right. Peace be with you

Going to church does not make you a Christian. You become a Christian by confessing that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and accepting him as your Lord and saviour. People go to church to worship God, to fellowship with other Christians, to learn, and to make each other stronger in the Lord.

Bad analogy because no one is saying that going to church makes you a christian. It may sound cool but the forced contrivance falls flat.
