God Bless You - regardless of the God you believe in or don't believe in, how can you be angry that someone wants you to be blessed? It's so much more personal and nice than the distant 'good luck', which can even come out sarcastic.

I`d rather a person tell me " God Bless you ", because I rely on Gods blessings "everyday" for life, health and strenth, and for everything else. Although most people do wish each other good luck, I`ve said it to, but I have asked myself, what is luck, what can it do for any of us? Only God can bless us and cause others to be a blessing to us.

From playing alot of games, I can tell you I'd prefer good luck - though having God bless me may be more helpful in the long haul. I am not sure if it matters which a person says though - which is why I use the standard & generic goodbye.

I would rather "God bless you" be said because, 1: it is a great term to show that someone cares and also has a loving attitude towards God, and 2: I'd much rather be blessed than lucky. God Bless!

I would prefer "Assalamu alaikum", Arabic for Peace Be Upon You. That's the way Muslims end all conversations.

Plus, I do not believe in "luck". It suggests some randomness with which things in life occur and that is not the case, as everything that happens is ordained by God as part of a divine plan.

Peace.

Q: >>>Would you rather someone said "God Bless You" or "Good Luck" as a courtesy to end a converstaion?? <<<

"God Bless You " because LUCK is evil, it is written:

Rom:14:23: .... ..... ..... ..... ...... ....... .........,... .... ..... .... ..... ..... .... .....: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

In His Holy and Precious Name, Jesus Christ

God Bless You.... Because the power of life and death is in the tongue. I will take every bit of God's blessing that I can get.

God Bless You! : )

I would prefer "God Bless You". But to many times, saying like this become cliches, with no real meaning behind it.

God bless you, because I do not believe in luck.

I prefer "good luck" because it doesn't make any assumptions about my beliefs. One could make the argument that it assumes that i am superstitious, however luck can be seen as more of a token of chance where a blessing almost always implies some sort of "Divine" intervention.
