The original 11 disciples were Jews. Judas was also Jewish, but he wasn't much in the way of a Christian.
The term Jew has two meanings: religion and ethnicity. The term "Jewish" is often used to describe people who follow the religion of Judaism. "Jew" could alwo mean people who are of Jewish descent (ie. ancestors of Abraham). A Messianic Jew is someone who is of the Jewish ethnicity but is a Christian and believes in Jesus.
As for all Chritians being able to be called "Jews," just because we follow some of the same Scriptures doesn't entitle us to their namesake. Many Arabs believe in parts of the Jewish Torah, but they would take quite offense at being called Jewish. The Bible addresses two main groups of people: the Jews and the gentiles. Anyone who is not an ethnic Jew is considered a gentile.

I could help it. But it is unrealistic. The Jews who possess/run Israel notice that in the event that they gave Muslim Palestinians same rights the Palestinians could quickly be within the majority, and Israel could stop to be a Jewish state. Personally I do not care, it would not trouble me. But to the Jews it concerns. Imagine how Roman Catholics could think if Jews have been allowed to transport to The Vatican till they grew to be the bulk there and took over? You have already got plenty of Europeans (or even Americans) claiming that Muslims will quickly emerge as the bulk in England and France. This is simply dumb, its no longer even remotely viable, however it is the sort of horrifying prospect that you'll get men and women all riled up simply by threatening it. Including Republicans within the US in these days, who similar to to get riled up. eight^) You even have the US utilizing Israel as a 'base' within the Middle East. Fundamentalist Christians are taught that Israel is rather principal considering that this is a harbinger of the End of Times. They are taught this considering that of Israel's political value to the US. So they would not stand nonetheless for an Arabic Israel, or perhaps a secular Israel. And how can outside forces maintain a country secular besides?

No. Are Jews considered, Christians? Christians don't follow the holy book so why should they be considered Jews.

Yes. Jews are Jews naturally...or rather they are born Jewish. Since they were God's people they were at one time the only people that could be saved. Christians are naturally Gentiles...meaning they are what the Jews would call of an "unclean" nature and couldn't be saved.
In the Bible, since the Jews were disobedient to God's Word, he sent Paul the Apostle to preach to the Gentiles (us non-Jews), so that we can be saved also like the natural Jews. Christ died on the cross to make it possible for people of ALL NATIONS to be saved, not just the Jewish people.
That's when we as Christians could become born-again and become as the Jews (not naturally), but spiritual. So we are Jews in spiritual nature.

sorta. Jews(excluding Messianic) would tell us we were following a false religion. We do use the Old Testament and follow it but we also follow the new testament. I guese if you want to think of it that way you can.
I say Jews are Jews Christians are Christians and Messianic Jews are Christians.

If the "Christian" has a Jewish mother...then, YES. Jews might disagree...there are those who say that accepting Yeshua as Messiah means that you are turning your back on your "Jewishness". IMHO, I disagree. I think that there are Jews who practice Judaism and can also believe in Jesus as Lord. I went to a Messianic Jewish Passover Seder once...it was awesome.

Christians are considered "adopted" Jews. God first revealed himself to the Jewish people. They refused him. He pulled the offer from the table and took it to the Gentiles who accepted him. As many as believed he was the son of God, to them he gave the power to actually become the children of God.

Pick pick pick, it doesn't matter what race you are if you choose to follow the teachings and declare Jesus as your savior and don't hide or shrink in fear when the times of tribulation appear then you are a christian. Ok good peace be with you, keep seeking knowledge this is how you grow in the Lord, and He will reveal more truths to you the more you seek.
