The religion and spirituality section isn't just meant for religious people. It's for anyone whose question involves religion and spirituality, whether you believe in them or not. It's questions like this that aren't being asked out of genuine curiosity but more with the intention of making a subtle barb at how someone feels about something that bug me. Some (not all) Christians on this site claim that it's the atheists that always criticize the beliefs of others on this site, but it comes from BOTH sides. The Christians can be just as rude at times as the Atheists and vice versa.

Jesus did no longer prepare scripture on my own. and many what hes reported and did is a element of our -- Catholic -- unwritten background. the hot testomony isn't a transcript of each and every 2nd of Jesus's existence or ministry. it particularly is the story of the fondation and early formation of the catholic churhc. The Gosples are the speivifc trainng that Jesus first bishops recived at his hand -- He hadn alternatives them trains them appoints a frontrunner, ordains him is crucified rises type the ded and ordains the relax. Int he period in-between instuting the scaraments. The gosples are greater and description highlighten the main iimportant spects of Jesus's challenge which grew to become into to chanced on His kingdom on earth, which is composed of teh instution of the sacraments. UNderstood in this contxt sripture makes suitable sense. exterior of this context it particularly is no longer smart and each style of errenous notions and missunderstandings are produced. This si why -- the context -- it particularly is rather uncomplicated for a catholic to talk a protestant particualrly the sola -scrupture or "fundies" becasue all of us understand the trutht and the actual context so we've the fact with us, and might easliy straineout fake concepts brough approximately via each and each indiviudal inperpting the owrds for themselves. So no no longer something must be greater desirable fro the fact Jesu gave scripture it particularly is impressive and positively exalted palce yet he did no longer exhibit the belief of sola sripture or he could have wrote himslef, he could have spent his time writng and not fouodning he church. Sola scripture is a type of idolatry which negates the actul jesus, aND UINDEED a private REALTIONSTHP WITH HIM it particularly is barely obtainable via the sacrametns.. It elavtes the bible to the sataus of God. certainly many call it the be conscious of god while in fact weknow that jesus is the be conscious of god and the bible is composed of the words of god.

probably not. why should they. Their only purpose in life is to insult Christians then say that we are the intolerant ones. Hmmmm
Go figure.
Just take a look at your other answers.
Maybe they should just call this part of the site the bash site. I do not care what anyone says on this site but the biggest kick Atheist and others get is to insult Christians and then pretend that they know what we believe.

This is a site for Atheists and agnostics, as well as hindus, buddhists, shintoists, and whoever wants to be here. Its called religion and spirituality, not christianity. You "christians" are so obnoxious that you've taken over this part of the yahoo answers and think that noone else belongs here. You want to claim this as your own and remain oblivious to the fact that there are other beliefs out there other then your own. One more reason to hate you people.

No. The U.S. is a free country, and I'm here to remind Christians of that. When Christians stop calling for the end of the 1st Ammendment guarantee of the separation of church & state, then I'll lose interest in this site.

This is as much a place for atheists and agnostics as it is for Christians, Muslims, Jews, Shakers, Quakers, Mormons, Raliens, Zoroastrians, Buddhists, Hindus, Scientologists....

What I'm trying to say is that this forum belongs to everyone. If there were a site for selfish, closed minded people would YOU leave this one alone?

If we are not engineers does that mean we shouldn't post anything in the engineering section of this site? No.

No.

(not atheist and/or agnostic).

What's the Internet for except to exchange ideas and "meet" people and hear viewpoints you might never heard of before?

This site is called "religion and sprituality."

Means ANY religion can be here.

Do you not want Taoism, Buddhism, Muslam/Islam, Unitarian, etc. on this site either? What about Jews or Spiritualists?

Well if you were the only one supposed to be on here, it would be called Christianity and No One Else, instead of Religion and Spirituality.
