if Jesus wanted us to take over the world, he would have done it when he was on earth instead of being crucified.

thats basically what they want to do, force their beliefs on others, that was the whole point of the religion, to spread their beliefs. Anyway.. the US is primarely made up of Christians, and the world looks on the US as a model (actually, Christians have nothing to do with that, but rather it is the result of smart people's work, not necesarely Christian). Besides, it would be impossible since Christians would be out numbered 6 to 1 in the world and perish.
