The Word of God has always been the same, its the people that change.

"I never had a problem with Christ, it was Christians I had a problem with." -Bono

Is Christianity changing? Maybe the mainstream version of it. The bible hasn't changed, only the people interpreting it.

Homosexuality:
1 Corinthians 6:9
Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders
Women should cover their heads:
1 Corinthians 11:6
If a woman does not cover her head, she should have her hair cut off; and if it is a disgrace for a woman to have her hair cut or shaved off, she should cover her head.
Women silent in church:
1 Corinthians 14:34 women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the Law says. 35If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church.
Jews killed Jesus :
This is not really biblical, but an interpretation of the Gospel. http://www.sullivan-county.com/id2/jews_killed.htm < is another opinion.
Christians killing apostates:
I'm not familiar with this.

Hope I helped, sorry I couldn't answer all questions.

I think Christianity, as with any religion, varies in branches of Faith. For example there are some who still believe the Jews killed Christ, but do accept homosexuality. It really boils down to definition of Christianity. Some believe you can only be a true Christian if you believe certain things and don't give any room for flexibility. Some like to use their particular brand or interpretation of the Bible as a basis for belief. Some believe in the Pope as being their spiritual leader. The list can go on....

The short of it is Christianity, or some parts of it very much tries to move with the times, but due to difficulty of interpretation how far away can we move from our origins before we become something totally different?

Christainity is absolutely not an evolving religion.

Foremost, there are two distinct sects of Christainity: Protestantism and Catholicism. If you would really like to ask this question, then a basic understanding of the two would be in order. You don't have this understanding so your question from its premise is flawed.

Secondly, you mistake "freedom" with "evolution." Christ's message transcends cultures and customs. While in one part of the world women may cover their heads and not talk, the other part of the world may allow it. Christ never directly called upon women in either role (the passages you are referring to are the words of Mark, not Christ).

Also, I have never heard any Christain deny that both the Romans and Jews killed Jesus. What you misunderstand is that for most Christains, it is of very little matter.

Homosexuality is still not accepted by any mainstream Christain sect.

Christains who killed apostates were wrong in doing so. The Church has condemned acts such as these. Just because a Christain believes something to be right and does it, that does not mean that it was truly right. Murder is wrong in any circumstance (I do not mean capital punishment). This is the position of the Church. If a Church leader were to claim otherwise, he would be wrong.

Yes. People always adjust religion to suit their own needs. Religions, including Christianity, evolve with time. I'm glad that they do (otherwise we'd still have the mentality of cavemen), but it shows that religions don't represent the truth (men have changed them too much through history to suit their own needs, so they can't be god's truth anymore, even if they originally came from some god) and that no religion is perfect.

Yes, Christianity evolves, as does every religion. There's an excellent discussion of this in Daniel Dennett's book "Breaking the Spell".

Much of the "evolution" that has taken place in Christianity is what was foretold by Scripture...."3For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 4They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. " And again, "They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them--bringing swift destruction on themselves. 2Many will follow their shameful ways and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. 3In their greed these teachers will exploit you with stories they have made up. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping."

Jews didn't kill Jesus, the Romans did. Homosexuality is not accepted by the Christians, not if you are a true Christian.
