"Matthew 5:22But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to his brother, 'Raca, is answerable to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell."

This is a pretty straightfoward interpretation.

If you are angry with anyone else, then God will judge you for it (presumably during your life or afterwards).

If someone should say that anger means that you will answer to God and someone calls that person a fool, then they will be in danger of God's judgement.

Basically, don't be angry at another or you will be judged. Anyone who denies this will also be judged.

people who call others a fool go to hell?

but didn't jesus say:

Matthew 23:17 [Ye] fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold?

Luke 11:40 [Ye] fools, did not he that made that which is without make that which is within also?

In other words, don't insult your brother and degrade him. ref:"So much as you have done this to my brethren you have done it to me."

first half of that is in reference to " Judge and ye shall be Judged."
