Which are the questions that a Hebrew would address to a Christian? I like the candor with which a Hebrew would answer to a Christians's questions. Now I would be happy to feel, and where possible even replying to the questions that a Hebrew would address to a Christian. And I would be curious to know if the these questions are the same that he would ask to a Catholic. I suppose that most questions would have Paul of Tarsus as subject. I begin to mention the difference between a Catholic and a Christian as me by expressing my thoughts on Paul of Tarsus . In the 21-st verse of the Gospel of Thomas (gospel not recognized by the Catholic Church) is written like this: Mary asked Jesus, "What are your disciples like?" He said, "They are like little children living in a field that does not belong to them. When the owners of the field come, they say, 'Give us back our field.' And those take off their clothes in order to give it back to them, and they return them the field. .... "

I believe that in this case the master of the ground is Paul of Tarsus. Why the owner of the field? He was an expert in the head of the religion, and therefore even if the message of Paul doesn't reflect the message that Jesus has left to his disciples, he has succeeded in accomplishing a "great" religion. So, the true message comes from Paul faded and stunned but for sure not cancelled.

this is what a hebrew would ask a christian:

1. why do you worship a man? why don't you worship G-d alone?
2. can't you see that babies are not sinful?
3. can't you see that G-d loves all of humanity, not just the select few who were born in the right religion?
4. what do people need to be saved from? if we create evil, isn't the only way to "save ourselves" from it to stop doing evil, not to try and erase it by having somebody else die for you?
5. whats the deal with that ted haggard guy?

to add on to what Jewish girl said

why would G-d give a set of rules and regulations to a set of people telling them that it will be forever only to have it annulled at a latter time?

why would he like to these people and tell them to follow those regulations for all time if he knew that by doing so they would fail to do his will?

why would any Creator punish someone for all of eternity for a finite set of crimes? Especially if the only crime was not believing in a particular doctrine.

Atheists are lots greater probably to appreciate the answer to that query. "Elohim" is a plural and grew to become into used interior the early polytheistic Mesopotamian faith. El grew to become into the pinnacle god, and Yahweh grew to become into certainly one of his sons, alongside with different gods as your pal mentions. considering monotheism grew to grow to be respected doctrine, the church has tried to hide the polytheistic origins of the religion and you will locate lots of diverse motives of using a plural for God. in case you prefer an respected Christian excuse i'm confident there are lots of those around. I responded purely in case you have been fascinated interior the fact.

I don't know of any Christians who have Bibles with the gospel of Thomas...

The Bible is complete, did not need to be added on.

Well, one big question to ask would be, "Why do you believe that Jesus is our Messiah?".
