Why do Muslims ask everyone to accept their rules? If I go to Iran, the culture is Islamic and I respect that by covering my hair. Why can Muslims not respect the culture of non-Islamic countries? Do we not have a right to our culture too? You came here by choice so accept the rules.

doesn't religious sectarianism create division and conflict in society and wouldn't a secular government be the best option to prevent any one religion overpowering any of the others and to stop religious discrimination and strife?

On a recent ABC news clip, it seems many westerners are threatened or imtimidated by muslims wearing veils. why? Many westerners feel like it is a rejection of western culture. How is that so? Is'nt their right to express themselves religiously as it is ours to express ourselves religiously? why are so many americans(not all) so afraid of anyone who is different than them. I feel like if the KKK can wear their sheets and parade around town muslims can wear their veils. I just don't see what the big HOOHAA is about.

My pastor always pours a drink when we have our private counseling sessions. One for him and one for me. Is he really supposed to be doing this?

When I was 17, I met a girl in High School that was 16, and we dated for 6 months. Then summer came. I ended up not taking the relationship as serious as I should have, and kissed another girl that summer. She found out, and our relationship ended.
12 years later....
Ran into my high school sweetheart online, in email the other day. We had a few good emails exchanging what we been up to these past 12 years. Then I asked her if she was ever engaged, and then I get no response back. Did I open up a wound from the past?

At this point I just want to have a friendship with this girl that I never had. I don't want to get back with her, or date/marry her. I feel I was very immature at age 17, and now I wanted to get to know her.

Is an apology needed her? I'm ready to apoloogize, though doing it in email doesnt seem right. We live in different states.

( I am a christian now )

why is it that catholics a so call huge religion all around the world would start a trip to the casinos i don't mean everone is doing it but here where i live in new jersey a catholic church is raising money so they can take a trip to the casinos i don't think jesus would like that at all. i don't even think he would like people to send there kids trick or treat when knowing that haloween is evil but we are to blind to see the bad in halloween but i guess no one cares anymore i guess jesus is not an importance in peoples live like before that's why we live in the world we live in. everone is sick they pay for money for this and that when jesus christ can do it for free. but we have little faith also we only see jesus on sundays becaue we feel we need some church and if we don't feel like it then we don't go. it's like everone wants to be saved and go to heaven but are not living the way jesus wants us to live mad at our family or alwas cursing or sexual desires. Jesus is coming soon.

The theme of the final prayer delivered last week by a Christian pastor who was electrocuted during a baptism was, ironically, "Surprise me, God."
That disclosure came this morning on the national radio program, Coast to Coast AM, by Terry Esau, author of "Surprise Me, a 30-Day Faith Experiment," who had been invited to speak at the University Baptist Church in Waco, Texas.

Intelligence means knowing the difference between right and wrong and If you cannot control the things, you will be only worrying yourself to more worry as the way things are happening in the world, it is pretty sickening : thus it is good to be fool and remain ignorant to get real bliss and to live peacefully. Personally, I find intelligent people always thinking and maintaining that the whole world is going to dogs whereas fools are laughing and enjoying the life. What a pity ?

If the couple genuinely love each other, why can't they just commit themselves to each other in the presence of God? Why is the ceremony neccesary? If they're sleeping together, doesn't God already consider them married? Like the woman at the well who had many lovers that Jesus called her husbands?

the way things are believed? Why is everything about my mis-interpretations and not about why early Christians felt justified in their interpretation? Can no one answer my other question? Is the old ways of the Christian faith something that no one wants to face because they know that when they do they will have to face some discrepancies?

That other question that just about every answer accused me of mis-interpreting when I was not the one who made thinking the world was round blasphemy during the 1300 and 1400 hundreds and before in the Christian faith, is below:
