The kids usually follow Muslim faith whether they are married in civil or in church. I really do not know how the couples agree and I do not ask them that question. I respect their rights.

no longer precisely a question yet thrilling certainty I belive i stumbled on some unusual years in the past. 3x3=6, 6x6=12 one million+2=3, 12x12=a hundred and forty four one million+4+4=9, a hundred and forty four+3=147 one million+4+7=12 With divisables of three 6 9 what ever how ever you upload to them the solutions divided into seperate digits then extra up become yet another divisable of three. No different variety does this.

Truth is a person - Jesus Christ. There is no other truth. Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, the Life - no one comes to the Father except through the Son. Trust Jesus Christ and have Heaven/Eternal Life and you can have an abundant life here on the earth now. You can have a relationship with Jesus Christ - not religion - that is what the muslims do. I pray you will find the Truth and He will set you free. Blessings.

I think that the "lost child" will learn the lessons offered by both parents. When that "lost child" is older will gain his or her own understandings and become a "found young adult". Finding his or her own way in this world, working to make it a better place for his or her "lost child" to grow and learn the same way they did.

Why make a choice? Neither Christianity nor Islam are real. Gods don't exist.
Learn about each of the religions, since it is important to your family, but learn more than just them. Be your own person. That's what is most important.
A good book to check out is Richard Dawkin's new book, "The God Delusion". He's a popular author who has written many books on various subjects. I'd also recommend Carl Sagan's book, "The Demon-Haunted World".
Good luck to you. If it's any help, much of my aunts and uncles are Jewish, my parents are Christian, my sister married a Methodist minister, my girlfriend is Muslim, and I'm an atheist. You're not alone there.

Don't listen to the first poster. YOu obviously feel strongly about religion. We can't answer this question for you. I'm Christian, and yes, baised towards Chrisitanity. however, which one feels right to you? Which one can you see yourself in? Take time to explore your faith. Only you know the answer to this problem, but it will take some soul searching.

Try a Unitarian Universalist church. We have many couples in our congregations that come from mixed religious heritages. You can celebrate the best of both your traditions and your child can make up their own mind.

The kid must then make the choice, as both parents have different religion, the kid is exposed on the church teaching.
Or maybe the kid is Pagan, that will really complete the cycle.

You are in a very awkward position especially in these times. Do not make that choice. Love them both and be accepting. Sorry to say, YOU have to be the adult here.
