the dinosaurs were discovered. I mean that is a direct contradiction that has been proven scientifically of the supposed god's word about making the earth, including humans, in 7 days. The best arguments I have heard to this are 'God's day is not our days, and god's are not our thoughts, so I don't really see a contradiction.' ....Hmmmm..I wonder if a guy walks into court accused of murder and all the evidence pointing against him, he will get off he says to the judge..'You just can't understand why the evidence points against me because your ways are not my ways and your thoughts are not like mine.' ...seems such a weak argument it really shouldn't be considered..but, just wondering if there is anyone who wants to present a better one because I don't wanna think a group of people are stupid based on a few stupid words of some...

Then Why people don't just ask the Jews about their religious book to get true intepretation from this, like someone who want to learn Islam should ask a Arab about true interpretation of the Koran?

No one went to heaven until Jesus died first. And the Jews only believe in the first 5 books of the bible...so what makes them think they will go to heaven?

Scholars agree that the name "Christian" was given to the followers of Christ. What about followers of Mary?

Why does Satan offer alternatives to the Bible?

Mary is the Mother of the God. (Catechism….p. 963, 975 )

Bible says, God has no Mother. Acts 1:14, I Corinthians 12:13,27, Revelation 1:8,11, Revelation 21:6, 22:13

Mary is the mother of God? Frist, This is not talking about God coming in the flesh. It is talking about His Son Jesus coming in the flesh.

Mary’s body and soul were Assumed up into Heaven to be with God on the throne. ( Catechism p. 966, 974 )

The bible says...Upon death, body returned unto the dust of the earth.( Genesis 3:19 )

Mary has been exalted by God as the Queen of Heaven.( Catechism….p. 2677 )

The only Queen of Heaven mentioned in the Bible was a pagan, female goddess that the Israelites got in trouble with God over.

Mary’s “Assumption” or being taken to heaven with body and soul is not found in the Holy Scriptures.

Are you fed up with people posting on yahoo answers who either havent realised the crusades finished ages ago, or think that the crusades were obviously so good they're worth repeating soon?

This is not a metaphysical q about your soul, I am talking about your physical body:

Will you be buried/cremated/donated to medical research/frozen/organ donor or something else?

Why?

How has you're religion or lack of affected your choice?

I am a Christian and just want to know:

What do you believe will happen to you when you die?
If nothing, does that not really make you feel scared of death, losing everything?

Tks

There is strong evidence that the stories from the Bible are retold stories from Sumeria , Egypt and surrounds. There are a lot of similarities between the Jesus stories and stories from ancient Eygpt , the Virgin birth, the flood, crucifiction all predate the bible by centuries.

That is why Christians say Amen
