The bible clearly dictates that those who accept Jesus Christ as savior and lord and trust in him whole heartedly are eternally secured. This is made possible by his death on the cross as a subsitute punishment for our sins. Now this raises a question in my mind, "Did Jesus die for only the elect or everybody?" considering that only the elect (those who believe in him) will be forgiven and have their sins washed away by his blood.

Fear the Lord for He is wonderful! Most people do not believe in God because they do not want to be held accountable for their sin! To bad for those people because there is only one place to go from there...HELL! Do not say I did not tell you! I will see you at the judgement! By the way I would love to hear in put from Christians and what the Lord is to you!

While being trained in employee conflicts, I was taught how to recognize the difference when an individual is actually listening to the questions and those looking for a way to make their pre concieved ideas and opinions known. I see this quite often on this site when questions are asked and the answerer does not even come close to answering the question or doesn't even consider the information that the questioner has put up there. I just think that if people would actually LISTEN to the information included in the questions, as well as some of the answers, people could actually consider what is being said before making their comments, which so many times veer way off of the question and quite honestly reveal the lack understanding the individual has or refuses to use. What do you think?

they always say things like how can you believe something you have no proof of well do you have absolute undeniable proof that there was a big explosion that created a planet and put life on the planet and gave all the planets inhabitants the necessary things it needs to survive such as air and water

(which is completly absurd when you think about it)

Strong's Exhaustive Concordance of The Bible
does not list any references to these words:
Outcome, consequence, responsibility, result or accountability.

Can anyone tells me how these ideas are referenced in the words of Jesus only (Matt.Mk.Lk.Jn) with section references if you could be so kind.

Thank you.

I only phrase the question this way, because I watche the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown and felt such sympathy for Linus who sat in the most beautiful man made pumkin patch and felt responsible for not being able to see something that is only meant to be seen not with his eyes but with his spirit. In the meantime he was missing all the fun banking on an idea, instead of being an example of that idea.

I just want to say this is the onyl religion i dont like, just because i have a daughter, and i will give her blood no matter what if she is sick ro abotu to die, u do not die from giving blood to your own child, and if its not your own blood, their is doctors that will not give bad blood to patience, unless they are bad doctors, we shoudl trust our doctors> And we shouldnt be paroinoid about dying from blood, it saves alot of people, and peoples familys,if the doctor sais its your only choice than u should take it,or if u dont want to ask the doctor to check the blood to see if its safe.

I am so depressed. Have been for a very long time. I know that depression is selfish. Could I possibly "need" an antidepressant. When I was younger (before I got saved) I was diagnosed with Manic Depression. What should I do? Keep praying and studying God's word with hope that one day I will be happy or should I go see a doctor?
Please no secular anti-God replys.

HI its encourager4God and I have a question:

Why is it so hard for me to accept the lot God has given me in life,
I was told by a christaian sister not to put myslef down so much.
I have been verbally abused but that is over and in the past.

I just want to love myself in a Godly way so I can love others, What are Bible vereses that have helped you thorugh your hurts and pain? How did all of you overcome your adversities, Sometimes I feel I am not good enough, pretty enough, smart enough, adequate enough. I know God loves me but at times I have a hard time loving/liking myself.

God is awesome but I would like to know where do I go from her and how to I go forward and truly put the past in the past.

Godly and practical answers only please.
