I am in no way religious so i do not see the whole god side of it, all i can say is there are always horrible things in the world and if you focus on these you will end up highly suspicious of all you encounter.I believe it in no way makes hate acceptable but how do we change it? That being said you can only do so much to change things inevidably there always has and always will be those who accept god's will as they say, those who question it and those who just let it be.

Very true statement and sad. The big difference is that the things of God are not the things of man. Man is very selfish and is unwilling to change what he is to fit in to what God wants. So man then uses religion to make himself equal to God.

Dogma and doctrine are man made as to put rules in the way of others coming to God. If you don't measure up to their rules then you are not good enough to come in. Instead of following the teachings of Christ they follow the teaching of other men.

When you look at the teachings of Christ and how he lived, many don't follow that example. Putting others before themselves, treating others in the manner in which you want to be treated. Loving your neighbor as yourself and loving your enemies. Having compassion (concerned passion or concerned love) for others.

Where is that in the actions of people who claim the faith? See it is by your actions that others will know what you are not by the name you call yourself. Words are worthless if they are not backed up by action and deed.

Hate is driven by selfishness, true faith fullness is driven by selflessness. You can measure the difference.

I think hate has a sort of appeal for people that don't want to think much or make decisions, hate does the thinking and the decision making for you.

There are only two things that I hate: Christians, and those who are intolerant of other people's religion.

Yeah, its a joke.

I think that it is the selfishness of those who are well off and instead of helping poor people, they get them satisfied with what ever little they have in the name of religion.

Not really. Hate is easy, and most people don't want to exert themselves.
