If tolerance means "live and let live" - you can't - according to your religion - do that.

A lot of people say they believe in God. I never know exactly what they are talking about. It seems like people are using one word to refer to an almost infinite number of different beliefs. I'm looking for some descriptions of what it is you really believe. Please don't tell me what god does, that God is indescribable, or that you feel god in some vague way, etc. etc. I've heard all that plenty of times. If you believe in God, you must have some conceptualization of this belief. What is it? I'm not looking to argue or ridicule. I'm honestly curious. Go into as much detail as you can.

YECs believe that God created the Earth and the Universe at the same time, roughly 10000 years ago yes? But you only have to look into the sky to see the light of stars that has travelled well over 10000 years to reach our eyes. In some cases the distance would have taken over a million years.

Do YECs deny that the stars are as far away as astronomers have deduced or do they presume the speed of light is somehow faster than it is thought to be?

I'm trying to understand how it could be possible from a logical point of view, without just saying "Oh, God moved the light closer so that we could see it within our lifetime." Help me out here.

cristitans believe what they WANT to believe, and are impervious to logic or new information. That is why it is generally a waste of time to try to communicate with them.

Luke 13:6Then he told this parable: "A man had a fig tree, planted in his vineyard, and he went to look for fruit on it, but did not find any. 7So he said to the man who took care of the vineyard, 'For three years now I've been coming to look for fruit on this fig tree and haven't found any. Cut it down! Why should it use up the soil?' 8" 'Sir,' the man replied, 'leave it alone for one more year, and I'll dig around it and fertilize it. 9If it bears fruit next year, fine! If not, then cut it down.' "
Your comments will surely be precious.

Can you explain what he meant? Is it equal to announce the Gospel?

Don't want anti-anyone answers for this. But the ongoing conflict is just heartbreaking. Old Testament. Ezekiel 47:21-23 seems to announce that the land of Israel would no longer be the exclusive property of the Jews. "You are to distribute this land among yourselves to the tribes of Israel. You are to allot it as an inheritance for your and for the aliens (non-Israelites) who have settle among you and who have children. You are to consider them as native born Israelites; along with you they are to alotted an interitance among the tribes of Israel.....[goes on] (Ezekial is a long book and prophetical and the time this is suppose to happen is not known by me, but this sounds like a command to share the land with non-Jews on an equal footing. While God originally allowed Israel to take the land by force against huge odds, in the future (or the present) he has new instructions.

Should Israel rethink their hold on the land? Both religions believe God owns the land, not people.

1. Should we fight for our rights, as christians, and try to stop the world changing?
2. Should we tell people to repent and find Christ, for, 'Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.' St. John 14:6
3. Do both of the above?
4. Do something else? Please Explain.

I would also appreciate reasons as to why you selected one of these answers above.

Most non-believers were born and brainwashed to be cristitian. They were baptized, confirmed and went to church and bibel class. When we reached adulthood, we could see the folly of it, and rejected it. cristitians, moslems, hindus and the rest should throw out their early childhood brainwashing and grow up.

Most of these people are so far from practicing the principles of the Bible that it greatly upsets me to be associated with them. The Bible even says that these kind of people, paticularly our Republican leaders, are not truly Christian even if they claim to be. Why do a lot of non-Christians seem to think that this is what it means to be Christian?
