This is a toss-up.

Funny how right-wing Christians dont understand that their biggest critics are in chruch with them.

Right-wing Christians: did you know that most of the non-muslims who bash Christianity are Christians themselves? You think its atheists, but atheists are the tiniest minority you could imagine.

Dont the Clintons go to church? Look at all the critics, and you will realize, they are Christian.

I know, you dont consider them to be "true christians" but you miss the point entirely. They dont call themselves agnostics or atheists, although they are certainly free to do so. They do call themselves "christians" and they do apply some version of Christian morality.

Leftists Christians apply the pacifist doctrines of Christianty literally, but dismiss most "lifestyle" doctrines. Conservative Christiants see "turn the other cheek" as more metaphorical, but apply the rest of the doctrines more literally. Not hatin here...just think yall should know.

The simple fact is this, regardless of all arguments as to who is right, Christian faith or Atheists.

Suppose Atheists are right. Christians will have lived a life of peace, harmony, and love for one another, they will die, the end. If Christian faith is right, an Atheist will have lived a life of peace, harmony, yet somewhat angry life (and don’t deny the anger, I see it in most of your responses!), you will die, you will spend eternity separated from God & His Kingdom, with never a chance for redemption. The way I see it, for a Christian it is a win-win situation. For an Atheist, it is a win-HUGE LOSS situation. Yes?....No?

I belong to one faith, but do think it valuable to hear what other people think. Who wants to be ignorant right? And I have heard some thoughtful answers. I don't agree with all, but put on the lightbulb..."so that's why they think that way". And I think it's great that the flames and smart-alec remarks are kept to a minimum. Just wondering if Y!Answers has helped you be more enlightened or just more convinced you have all the answers.

I dont know what to beleive. i go to church and learn stuff, then I read pats of The Bible, then I hear lots of peopel with alot other stories. I go to church, and what I find here is completely different then waht I learn in The Bible or church. (Im 14, please fellow Christians, dont bash me. Im Christian)

Please understand I am not attacking anyone here, just as any reasonable person would do, questioning things to gain insight .
1.Any choice , and now I will refer to a religious choice , is based on social and cultural conditioning, for instance those born in the middle east most likely are going to be of Islamic faith, those in Jerusalem most likely will be Jews, and so forth. For those who believe that just their faith would take them to heaven or hell, so how can it be a free will to choose Christ if GOD has chosen your place of birth where you most likely ,once again because of cultural background you are in, you will not have the opportunity to know him, then you are dammed since you were born, what kind of choice and free will is there?
2. for those that say or you accept Jesus as the savior or you will perish in hell, but you have the choice, what kind of choice is it really if someone tells you give me your money or I will shoot you?

I just want to get this straight.......I should disregard every credible mainstream scientist on earth, hundreds of years of research about our natural world and my basic ability to reason for this story?:

***A sky-genie created the first man from dust and

My friend's puppy is missing. She's looked everywhere, done everything and she misses her a lot. It's really tearing her up; she apparently was very close to her pet. She's asked me to do magick to help her find the puppy. I did a "get well" spell on this same friend and it worked, so she's asked me to help.

Any suggestions on how I go about this? I've done spells for close friends before and they've all worked. But I've never done one like this. I was thinking of getting a picture of the puppy and maybe some fur and a toy or collar that belonged to her. So how would I link it to bringing her home?

For all the non-Pagans, please don't post an answer that won't help. I'm going to do this spell, and it's a serious matter. No scriptures, no hate, no attempts at converting, please.

Before it was known as the King James Version it was known as the Antioch manuscripts..People could have them read to them.Antioch is where the Apostles were(Acts 11:26)They used the King James as well.God bless

So many Christians get so hung up on this speaking in tongues issue. The issue was dead for 1900 years, then someone opened a can of worms and started teaching that its a gift we all should have. The Pentecostal religion was born, and now people think its more important to utter words that in all honesty, no one can understand, then speaking words that many understand. Paul taught well on this subject and we would be wise to listen to the Bible instead of all those people and preachers, that want you convinced that you need to speak in tongues to prove you are religious or spiritual. What about the fruit of the Spirit, lets hear more about that and less about uttering words that mean nothing to anyone accept the speaker who thinks he is riding high. There are so many Spiritual gifts and it is very sad that people focus on something that will accomplish nothing. After all, Jesus walked this earth and NEVER spoke in tongues!!!

It says stuff about what hes like but doesent give you a look at him. Why? Does it? What is god? Boy? Girl? A Spirit? Nothing? I dont know. If the Bible gives a description, what Book is it under?
