If jesus can turn water into wine, then he surely can turn beer into piss, don't drink it, jesus has been known for his low brow humor.

No I would not drink. Even though Jesus turned water into wine, it is not the same wine that we know of today. Also God takes about not drinking strong drink. Even if he did say don't get drunk with strong drink, he says that we should treat our bodies as a temple. I'm sorry but drinking beer even one is not treating our body as a temple. By the same token though if that did happen I would probably tell Satan in the name of Jesus Christ get behind me if I really thought that I was being handed a beer by Christ.

Beer isn't bad. It's kind of good on a hot day. I bet Jesus would drink a cold beer on a hot day if he was here. When I was younger at my Church they were building a school right next to the Church (Catholic Church--Catholic School) anyway I remember our priest came out of the rectory with a six pack and sat down on the side with a couple of the workmen and had a cigarette and a beer with them. I thought that was kind of neat--just like Jesus kind of always preferring the common man.

Now why would I behave like such a jackass? Jesus drank wine - and yes, it WAS the alcoholic beverage it is today. Have you forgotten that his first "miracle" was changing water to wine at a wedding? Again, was real wine, not grape juice! So what'd be the big deal if he handed you a beer?
I would say to him exactly this: "Thank you, sir, but I can't accept your beer. The beverage causes me severe migrane. I hope you'll understand."

Maybe if it was Layla Dirty Blonde Ale brewed in Askelon, Israel. LOL .
Getting drunk is a sin; having a beer is not.

You should've asked "If Jesus came up in his Porsche convertible and said "let us go bar hopping and pick up chicks; tabs on me, because I just used a little o God power to help me win the Lotto, would you go party with him?"

Then I would say, "Hey you're not Jesus! Jesus drives a hybrid."

I do not have a problem with a can of beer, i had one last month with pizza.
and since Jesus turned water into wine, and that grape juice story just does not wash. then why wouldn't he enjoy a cold beer?

but don't you think that Jesus has better things to do than hand out beer?

Yes. Jesus did turn water into wine, afterall.

The Bible teaches of moderation, not abstainance from alcohol. Those who preach that the Bible says to stay away from alcohol are just using the Bible as a means to push their own personal beliefs on it.

nope, I don't drink beer anyway, and Jesus supplied wine to a party, what makes you think he wouldn't approve of a beer once in a while?

I'd drink it, even though I don't like beer from Mexico much.

True, but, drinking isn't a sin. As long as it's done in moderation.
