nope. salvation can't be determined by what part of the world you were born in. i think it's about faith. the asian culture might worship buddha, but they are still believing in God. how is it fair for people who grow up worshipping how their parents taught them to go to hell? i think those who are faithful and live good lives will be saved.

Do the Witnesses believe that their religion is the only right one?

Anyone who is serious about his religion should think that it is the right one. Otherwise, why would he or she be involved in it? Christians are admonished: "Make sure of all things; hold fast to what is fine." (1 Thessalonians 5:21) A person should make sure that his beliefs can be supported by the Scriptures, for there is only one true faith. Ephesians 4:5 confirms this, mentioning "one Lord, one faith, one baptism." Jesus did not agree with the modern, relaxed view that there are many roads, many religions, all leading to salvation. Instead, he said: "Narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are the ones finding it." Jehovah's Witnesses believe that they have found it. Otherwise, they would look for another religion.-Matthew 7:14.

Going to Heaven is not based on being a certain religion. Going to heaven is based on whether or not you have accepted the free Gift of salvation through Jesus Christ and if you have a personal relationship in Him. With this being said, No I do not believe that my "religion" will be the only one to go to heaven. There will be many people who were brought up in different religions and practiced different things before they realized who was going to make the real difference in their life.
If you are interested in discovering the gift that I have talked about today, please read Romans 3:23, 6:23, and John 3:16 in the holy Bible. These verses let you know that we have all sinned, but God desires to forgive us so that we can live with Him in heaven some day. In order to receive this forgiveness, all one must do is pray a simple prayer asking God to forgive everything they have done wrong, choose to change their life and strive to live a better life and follow the way that God teaches us to live through His word (the Holy Bible) and commit your life to the Lord and you will have the amazing gift of salvation and the unltimate destination of heaven when you die.

I believe that God doesn't believe in religion. Religion is man-made. It's man's vain attempt to reach The Almighty. True Christianity, on the other hand, is not a religion. It's God reaching down to man.
Jesus didn't say "You must be a Catholic...or a Baptist...or a Pentecostal) What he did say was "You must be born again."

The bible does no agree with the modern view that there are many acceptable ways to worshop God. Ephesians 4:5 says there is only one Lord, one faith, Jesus stated, Narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are the ones finding it. Not everyone saying to me, Lord Lord will enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will. Matt.7:13, 14, 21 also 1Corinthians1:10
Repeatedly the Scriptures refer to the body of true Christian teachings as "the way of the truth." 1 Tim.3:15; 2John1; 2Peter2:2.
Because Jehovah's Witnesses base all of their beliefs, their standards for conduct, and organizational procedures on the Bible, their faith in the Bible itself as God's Word gives them the conviction that what they have is indeed the truth. So our position is not egotistical but demonstratres our confidence that the Bible is the right standard against which to measure one's religion. They are not self-centered but are eager to share their beliefs with others.

I believe regardless of what religion you are, you come into this world with a mission. We dont know what it is, but we should all strive to do good to others and respect other peoples beliefs. If I said other religion followers will burn in hell, I would be so far from being saved.
We dont know what comes after death, but we should leave a legacy in the world after we die. It would be pointless to live ans take from the world and never give back.

Saved from what? Hell?

Funny thing about that is that everybody has a different version of Hell. For some, Hell would be to end up surrounded by religious people.

I tend to think we all end up in a place where it's normal to behave the way we have in this life. So if you're a murderer, you'll be in a place where murder is pretty common (Might be Hellish there). If you're a person who treats others well, then you'll end up in a place where others do the same (Sounds nice).

Religion is irrelevant... You're actions are what define your place in the universe.

I think that Protestant Christianity is closest to what God intended. I don't feel smug, or want to beat people over the head with my bible, though. There isn't one of us (humanity) who really deserves eternal life, and I know it's ultimately up to God.

We're all going to stand before Christ one day. He's going to look into our hearts and judge every one of us. Who is to say who followed the righteous path?

It's important that we follow God's will, not our own feelings and ideas on what we think is "good". By doing so, we'll find out what is truly "good" and what isn't.

Also, we should "be discerning" (as the Bible says), and learn to tell false prophets from true ones.

It is not a specific religion. It clearly states in the bible that no man can come to the father except by me. So if you truly accept Jesus as your personal lord and Savior, and ask his forgiveness for all your sins, then you too shall have your name written in the Lambs Book of Life.

By whatever name it is called, only Christians will go to Heaven. Not that Christians are special, but that they believe in Jesus Christ the Savior... the definition of a Christian, not a religion.

No... many people in many different religions will be saved.

BTW - Baptist isn't a religion it is a denomination within the religion of Christianity.
