I don't fully agree. Yes there both ignorent of each other, they preach blindly from there books, but there is a very small movment that is creating ties inbetween religions. Extremists are what they are in every religion, when someone thinks god spoke to them there is no changeing that persons mind ( I always like to bring up that you never here gods voice, but you can hear the Devils in those typse of situations ). The key to uniting them is to get the good people of each religion to clamp down on there fellow brothers who like to claim they know everything and think everyone else is wrong without even looking at what there saying. The Christian and Islamic books share the same prophets, the difference being...
1. Technically the bible came from the apostlse a year after christs death, so is an apostles mind the same as christs. Consider the mistakes apostles made vs. mistakes jesus made.
2. Islam refuses to admit there are any truths in christianity when quite a few do show, just not the ones you see on TV, you have to look for the good stuff.
3. The Prophet Muhhammed question, thats something you have to read yourself and come to a conclusion on. Do his words sound solid in reason, you have to read it to know for sure.
4. How each is taught. Each is taught differently region to region, there are peacful teaching of each as well as violent teachings.
5. The last point is just the mind set of an individual who reads it. It's not the religion that fails you, only the people using the religion for whatever means that ruins it. If you read both books, came to an intelligent conclusion, you would see they are peace inspireing. It's the people lusting for wealth, power, and blood that ruined everything about these two religions.
It would take something big to get them to see reason, when a person thinks god wants them to do what they do, you going to find it rather difficult to stop them. Unless you have any miracles up your sleeve, neirther of them would change.

Not entirley. The christian religion has evolved since it was first created. No-one can deny that what was once considered hell worthy, is now no longer...For instance, eating meat on a Friday used to be up there with murder on the scale of what to do and what not to...

Muslims are the same, sure the women in islam are not always treated as equal, but there is a hell of a lot more of it than there used to be.

However, so long as fundamentals exist and lunatics who want to take the bible litraly, then we're all screwed, because they will never see eye to eye with anyone who doesn't believe what they do.

But you cannot deny that both religions have evolved and molded into the 21st century...Well the mainstream parts of them have, the other crazy sects you find haven't...But confortingly enough, that's why they are not in the majority.

Today the Christians are believers in Moses, accept Him as a Prophet of God and praise Him most highly. The Muslims are, likewise, believers in Moses, accept the validity of His Prophethood, at the same time believing in Christ. Could it be said that the acceptance of Moses by the Christians and Muslims has been harmful and detrimental to those people? On the contrary, it has been beneficial to them, proving that they have been fair-minded and just. What harm could result to the Jewish people, then, if they in return should accept Christ and acknowledge the validity of the Prophethood of Muhammad? By this acceptance and praiseworthy attitude the enmity and hatred which have afflicted mankind so many centuries would be dispelled, fanaticism and bloodshed pass away and the world be blessed by unity and agreement. Christians and Muslims believe and admit that Moses was the Interlocutor of God. Why do you not say that Christ was the Word of God? Why do you not speak these few words that will do away with all this difficulty? Then there will be no more hatred and fanaticism, no more warfare and bloodshed in the Land of Promise. Then there will be peace among you forever.

It's Christians, not cristitians to start with! Also, none are leopards. True Christians are headed for Heaven, whereas the Muslims are headed for hell if they don't throw away the koran and TURN AROUND!

Not at all.
Religion is quite different from human movement. In human societies some mass group join another mass group in social, philosophical or political movements. This is quick change and its quick disintegration follows.
In religion, individual followers of former religions gradually and voluntarily change and become united in the most recent Revelation of God.

Firstly, I should hope so. What's the point of having a belief system you chop and change?
Secondly, if I were to be an animal, a leopard is one of the nicest I think - right up there in the food chain, so my chances of survival beyond are higher...lol
Lastly, if Christians and Muslims are two leopards, then I am pleased indeed, for I am one and my sweetheart the other, so it means there's hope for our lair!... tee hee.. grrrrrr...

Why should they? At least they believe in something and try to live a righteous and self-less life. We are all subjected to our cultural upbringing and I don't see how anyone is any different or open-minded. I really don't think your question is objective.
