Are we losing the battle with time? Technology rapidly advances everyday, yet we cannot keep up with our busy schedules! My theory is that the devil cannot get us to be bad so he is keeping us so busy that we cannot be effective. We are continually distracted. When will we realize that we need to get back to a simple life? Will our kids be the victims? Where does it stop? What is your experience? How does your busy life hamper your ability to be effective in your life as a Christian wife, mom, care provider, friend, etc. Is it just me??? Ideas please. Thank you!! :)

ok so I think it is a totally difficult thing to be preacher or to follow a church I think. Just the other deay I was told by a priest that I don't know much about christianity. I think there are different points of view on different themes, but the ommon thing that remains is the scripture and a priest must stay true to scripture. He also said that I was not being true to scripture while he actually wasn't true, like saying every sin has the same weight. WTF? Murder is now the same as lie to someone? Is he nuts or what?????? And HE tells me "you are not far?" WTF? I think it only shows that they only want to be priest to be seen as more than the others, and that finally if you see a priest you adapt his point of view and do not learn with your own intellect but are dependent of HIM. and by that you do give space to "satan" because some guy is between you and the scriptures, and I dont want that. Often the priests a) say things that are not even in the bible b) don't even follow it.

thou shall not kill.
christains, jews and muslims can all agree on that right?

so god is omnipitant,
and killing another human is murder,
so when god sent jesus to earth he KNEW that he was sending him to his death.
so that would make god a murder since jesus would not have even been in the situation in the first place if god didnt send him.

lets look here for a second.

People are not smart enough to realize that
ALLAH, GOD, BHAGWAN, EESHWAR, JOVAH...
are nothing but the name of the Almighty...

So what if we call the Almighty as "The One"

Don't get me wrong. I love my life, but it can't always be fun and enjoyable. There are things that everyone has to do in order maintain their lives as stable. You have to do what you have to do to get what you want. When I am in that "have to" stage in my day, I tend to go through it with a stoic, calculation and efficiency of a robot, I guess. It doesn't cause me distress, but it is hard to ignore compared to how I am when I am enjoying the fruits of my labor; loose, spontaneous, easy going and doing what I like. Does anyone else out there have this sense of duality?

In the creation account found in Genesis chapters 2 and 3 we find the following statements:

And the LORD God commanded the man, "You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die.

"You will not surely die," the serpent said to the woman. "For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil."

So who is the liar and who told the truth?

What does this tell us about their character?

It's that masochistic submission thing that worries me about the whole deal, I mean I can understand it ...many relationships have an element of dominance and submission but I prefer a more egalitarian approach myself.
