1. There are only 2 personalities you can believe in. God or Satan. Satan wasn’t worthy believing in so I choose God
2. God has done everything for me to live a joyful, prosperous, peaceful, healthy, holy, fulfilling, meaningful, quality and everlasting life here on earth and in the ages to come. Satan has done absolutely nothing.
3. God said I should believe in him, so I did, don’t ask me for facts, because no 1 believes things you already have facts for
4. God created every thing we see in the earth today, who wouldn’t believe in such a creator.
If you are a non-Christian, now’s my turn to ask you,
WHY DON' YOU BELIEVE IN GOD

NOTE: if you don't believe in God, then you believe in Satan.

Strange angle as this may seem to come from... I believe in God for so many reasons. A personal relationship being first, things I read in the Bible being fulfilled, I can't help but look around and wonder how all these incredible, delicate, intricate, flowers and insects and even our own body systems can have happened by some big explosion. But there is another reason...
have you noticed that people from all other religions can talk about their faith and almost everyone will tolerate it, respect it to some extent even admire it but as soon as you say you're a "Christian" most people turn on you... think you're a loser, fantatic, weirdo whatever. If Jesus is dead! They why deny the freedom to pray in school, why deny us the right to call Christmas by it's name instead of "The Winter Holidays". Strangley enough it increases my faith in "Christianity" cause if there was nothing to it people wouldn't be trying so hard to shut it down!

I've seen the realness of God, time and time again. God has made me believe. Seeing is believing. Not only seeing but experience. Experiencing what it's like having God deliver me, experiencing what it's like having God make me feel, recognize, and see both WHAT and WHO God can and will be for or to anyone in any need whatsoever.

Well, I believe in God because some of the things that I have read from the bible that said were going to happen turned out to be true! In the bible I read these are the last times and days, children will no longer obey there parents, disaterous storms will destroy the earth, wars will break out and so on. Well if we all think about it, there are children on t.v. shows who think it's ok to disobey there parents, hurricane Katrina destroyed Lousianna and other states, and this war that were in is not going anywhere. People are just dying.

Well, being scientific minded, I read the book "Signature of God" by Grant Jeffrey and the answers in there proved to me that God exists. I also feel a deep need to believe in something, I don't want to be alone in this big scary world.

You will probably get a great many long answers to this. I can give you my testimony, if you'd like. I can give you a load of apologetics and reasoning. We always use it for defense, but when it comes down to it, we believe because we've had experiences with Him. For example, I know He exists because He changed me in an instant. It is that simple.

It is hard to impart experiential knowledge to a non-believer, and that is why we have these other things like logic and reasoning, but that doesn't evangelize people, God does.

I believe in God because there is just too many prophesies that are being fulfilled and I have a personal relationship with him. Its so awesome knowing that you have some one there to protect you and be there for you at all times

If not because of my sheer EXPERIENCES, I've had of GOD TELLING methat "I have a friend in Jesus," and, being TOLD, "The Sacrifice has already come."

Because of John 14:6. Jesus said,"“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. "

He loved ME FIRST, so, I TRY to RETURN the love, by telling you that YOU are also loved. By Him. By me.

This isn't BIBLICAL, but, the writer of The Chrinicles of Narnia, set out to find God. HE PROVED God Is! He wrote a book about Joy. IN THAT book, he says that JOY is FAITH.

And the Bible says we cannot please God without faith. Hebrews 11:6.

And the Word says, "faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God." Romans 10:17

God I have always sort of assumed was there.

Since you addressed Christians, I am thinking you may mean why do we believe in Jesus Christ??

It is only through J.C. that I have been able to show love to the people I feel love for. It is humbling and beautiful.

I went to church when i was little..and was more or less scared into believing. Now that im 33...I've been given proof in my life that there is a God. Today's world is being turned against God, and it scares me...alot of selfishness out there...if it wasn't for God..I wouldn't be able to cope...his love gets me through.
