I don't know, but when one is there I understand they know they are there. I think the real question if one gets there do they have to stay or can they keep on going? Lots of times it seems we can have hell on earth (N.Orleans during Katrina, life near World Trade centers 09/11/01-12/31/01, Baghdad, Iraq the last three years and on and on), and if you really need to go to Hell, go up to the state of Michigan where there is an actual town called Hell, MI. Good luck on your journey to find the Hell you are looking for and/or need to go to. Hmmmmm

It's often referred to as the "depths" in figurative language. Is it literally "below"? I don't know. Hell is outside the presence of God and all that is a reflection of his nature and character. It is separated from everything that is just, honest, gracious, compassionate, kind, considerate, wonderful, beautiful, amazing, breathe-taking, etc.

It's in another dimension. A location at that point is irrelevent since it's nowhere in the universe we inhabit.
