the last generation began when Israel became a country in 1948.
Yes we are in the last days so much talk about trying to get God out of this country when this Country was founded on God and for those people who don't believe this look on your money it will have a figure representing our government and then it says in God we trust HMMMM

Everyone always thinks that nothing could possibly be worse or more dire than the times they live in. Centuries? They've been spouting end of the world nonsense for THOUSANDS of years.

'This is the way the world ends: Not with a bang, but a whimper.'

The world has gotten safer since the mid-60's, when children were taught to hide under desks in the case of a nuclear bomb. The United States and Russia always had a hand hovering over the bomb, ready to kill everyone on the planet.

While the world today is not that safe, we are no longer looking down the nose of a shinny missile,

The scary part is that the world is getting safer. It is amazing that the current state of afairs is better than what we had before. It is still not good.

If Armaggedon is coming, it will be courtesy of George W. Bush.

So let's look at Bible prophecy: Matthew 24:4 says "Jesus answered: "Watch out that no one deceives you. 5For many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am the Christ,[a]' and will deceive many. 6You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8All these are the beginning of birth pains."

People saying they are the messiah? Yup. Now and ever since even before Jesus spoke those words.

Wars and rumours of wars? Been going as long as there have been humans.

Nation ... against nation, and kingdom against kingdom? Hey, didn't we just cover that?

Famines? Always have been, always will be...

Earthquakes? Always have been, always will be...

Pretty easy to make that prophecy, wasn't it? How about this one... When the sky is blue and water is wet, when humans walk upright and dogs on all fours, when creatures sleep at night and winds blow, then shall come destruction. So abide by my beliefs and do not stray or wrath shall come upon you!

Hey, I just created a new religion!

Who knows. They have been spouting this for centuries because the world has gone through political and social upheaval for centuries.

It's possible- but I think it's going to get a LOT worse before God puts His foot down. We've only scratched the surface when it comes to cloning. Depravity seems to be out of control but I can see it getting worse. Remember the scene in 'Back to the Future 2' when Marty came back to the present in another time line? Yea- way worse than that even!!!
Have a great day!!!

I think it's more likely that the planet will reach its breaking point with us than the biblical thing.

But as to that, I have no idea. I see signs that people are starting to care about the environment. After all, I don't think you can find Aqua Net for sale anywhere, and Whole Foods organic markets are springing up left and right....

Unless the world completely blows up, humans will survive. We may have a nuclear holocaust that kills billions of people but some will survive. Then there will be another dark ages and the human race will slowly rebuild it's self again. Hisotry really does repeat it's self.

most certainly, we are, this is what the bible says
2Ti 3:1 But be certain of this, that in the last days times of trouble will come.
2Ti 3:2 For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, uplifted in pride, given to bitter words, going against the authority of their fathers, never giving praise, having no religion,
2Ti 3:3 Without natural love, bitter haters, saying evil of others, violent and uncontrolled, hating all good,
2Ti 3:4 False to their friends, acting without thought, lifted up in mind, loving pleasure more than God;
2Ti 3:5 Having a form of religion, but turning their backs on the power of it: go not with these

Read the Revelations of St. John the Divine. The end times were a thousand years ago. We are the dregs that were left behind. Kind of explains a lot, doesn't it?
