No one went to heaven until Jesus died first. And the Jews only believe in the first 5 books of the bible...so what makes them think they will go to heaven?

First of all, the original (and Jewish) Bible includes more than the 5 books... Secondly, the belief of the resurrection is tied in with the coming of the Messiah, who was NOT Jesus, since the true Messiah has to fulfill the following requirements:
He must gather the Jewish people from exile and return them to Israel. (Isaiah 27:12-13, Isaiah 11:12) He must rebuild the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem. (Micah 4:1), he must bring world peace. (Isaiah 2:4, Isaiah 11:6, Micah 4:3), and he must influence the entire world to acknowledge and serve one G-d. (Isaiah 11:9, Isaiah 40:5, Zephaniah 3:9)
Finally, we do not believe in eternal damnation and hell. The Jewish belief is in a purgatory that purifies the soul of its spiritual blemishes prior to its return to G-d. (Psalm 49:15, II Samuel 14:13, Isaiah 45:17)

Jews believe the whole old testament. but they study the first five books more closely. They believe that the messiah they were promised will eventually come, but that Jesus was not him. I'm notsure if they believe in heaven or not, but i know they don'tbelieve there is a hell, at least not the one described in revelations.

in no one/Why do you ask ,you don't believe in anyone but yourself. The Jewish people believe in the truth and it isn't added on in a new testament. You SEE it only makes conflict, between all beliefs and if it was the pure holy truth why would there be so much auguring over what a fairytale coming to an end.The truth always wins in end by living in the truth you know truth you are the truth in the truth. You think they know the truth not,if they did the mystery of God would be finished. In the holy truth its time to end all this nonsense and get on with the real program, being a holy people living in peace ,the truth brings this to pass,it sets you free

I could be wrong, but I believe that some Jews don't believe in afterlife at all, which makes the Heaven issue kind of moot.

We believe in the entire "OT". The prophets, eg ezekiel, speak of the resurrection of the dead. In fact, since it hasn't happened, thats one of the ways we know that messiah has not yet arrived!
