all of the teen boys judge the contest and if you lose then the whole school gets to throw rotten eggs at you and if you win then they give you a years supply of birth control pills and condoms and bud light( so you can keep your figure) I really, really want to win. How can I sabotage all the other contestants? Should I sleep with all the judges so I can be sure to win? And what if I lose? What is the best way to get rotten egg smell off of you?

P.S. All of the parents are protesting this contest. Most of them are baby boomers and my parents are going to have a sit in in the cafeteria. I am so embarrassed.

I spent a few years attending a Christian church. I felt surrounded by hypocrites and uncomfortable at mass. I feel that I am a good person, always trying to do the right thing but I am unable to completely agree with the prophecy in the bible mainly because of scientific proof of evolution and other things that do not concur with the words of the bible. I was recently questioned by a Jehovahs' Witness about my beliefs and was intrigued by the subject but when I explained myself this person avoided the subject from then on. I myself have a hard time choking down the idea of creationism, but, I am a very open minded person and eager to debate anyone on this subject. Religion is a subject that has always intrigued me.I grew up in a Mormon household and since I have been on my own I have taken on a more Buddhist approach to spirituality. am currently engaged to a Roman Catholic woman and her family is very adamant about her faith, obviously a problem for myself. I know, it's a hard thing to imagine, but if you stopped aging today, and could never die, wouldn't the only thing left be to learn? To try and unlock every last mystery of the universe?

Without the concern of war, disease, and "what happens after" wouldn't god & religion just fade away?

I am looking for books based on the Hindu faith. Books other than the Bhagvad Gita, Upnishads / Vedas. I've read the scriptures, but am looking for something on the inspirational / devotional side. Any ideas?

I'm actually hoping I might get some serious answers to this question...

The karmas (actions) that we perform are responsible for all the happiness and sorrow we experience. When we perform good deeds, we get good results. When we perform bad deeds, we get bad results. Good deeds will result only in good results and bad deeds in bad results. That is why it is said, "Do good, be good, see good; this is the way to God." When you cultivate good thoughts and undertake good activities, you will experience good results. Therefore, remember that the result of our own actions is responsible for all our sorrows and difficulties.

any points from your side?

I AM A CHRISTIAN

I'm a part of the fellowship of the unashamed. I have Holy Spirit power. The dye has been cast. I have stepped over the line. The decision has been made. I'm a disciple of His. I won't look back, let up, slow down, back away, or be still.

My past is redeemed, my present makes sense, my future is secure. I'm finished and done with low living, sight walking, small planning, smooth knees, colorless dreams, tamed visions, mundane talking, cheap living, and dwarfed goals.

I no longer need pre-eminence, prosperity, position, promotions, plaudits, or popularity. I don't have to be right, first, tops, recognized, praised, regarded, or rewarded. I now live by faith, lean on His presence, walk by patience, lift by prayer, and labor by power.

My face is set, my gait is fast, my goal is heaven, my road is narrow, my way rough, my companions few, my Guide reliable, my mission clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, deluded or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of the adversary, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity, or meander in the maze of mediocrity.

I won't give up, shut up, let up, until I have stayed up, stored up, prayed up, paid up, preached up for the cause of Christ. l am a disciple of Jesus. l must go till He comes, give till l drop, preach till all know, and work till He stops me. And when He comes for His own, He will have no problems recognizing me--my banner will be clear!!!

My sister just had a baby and she wants me to be the godmother. I am a Witch, and my sister is a born-again Christian. She's accepting of my beliefs and they don't bother her. We've been best friends all our lives. But will the Priest go ahead with the baptism knowing I am a Witch? What if he doesn't? What should I do?

Now you don't believe in evolution and you think the earth is 6 000 years old and eveything that ever was once created once coexisted, right?
But you do believe in the existence of coal, oil, and natural gas, right? You know, the stuff you put in your car, your heating oil, etc...
The following site gives a good layman's term explanation of how these things came to be on earth:
http://www.energyquest.ca.gov/story/chapter08.html
But if your a creationist, that widely accepted scientific explanation won't cut it for you: It implies the earth is way older than 6 000 years and that fossil fuels come from animals that have dissapeared a long time ago...
So what is your explanation?

okay, i have seen spirits here and there since i was about 10, i've heard things like footstpes when there was no one there, i'm not like a full on medium though, and i don't want to be, as since i first heard about em, i've thought about how hard their lives must be.

does this mean i'm gifted in some way though, as i have read in books that childs see spirits, but this is because of there innocence, and leaves them as they get older
