Good question
Concerning the early Christians " They continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship and in breaking of bread, and in prayers" (Acts 2:42)
A simple structure:
a) Apostles' doctrine
b) The fellowship
c) The breaking of bread
d) The prayers
The Lord Jesus asked nothing more for us. He intended that we would carry on in simplicity, owning no name but his. He looks for faithfulness and first love from his people. May God bless his people and truly separate them to himself.

Because the Bible says at 2 Timothy 4:3,4 For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. A good example is, now the churches are accepting homosexuality as OK, Jesus loves you just the way you are and won't punish you for loving someone of the same sex if you really love them. The trinity is another falsehood because of misunderstanding the Scriptures and even all good people go to heaven and all bad people will burn in hell. I could go on and on with things I have seen on this forum, the things people believe is saddening. How badly they have been mislead.

Not every word Jesus said was recorded in Scripture. So, how do you know it was not told to the Apostles? You question needs clarification

Because they follow man instead of God. People do not really want to believe what is in the bible and they want to believe what they want to, so they twist the scriptures and take it out of context to make it say what they want it to.
I am no longer a Christian and no longer have a lot of scripture memorized so I forgot the book chapter and verse but Jesus was aware of thes people he said," In vain they do worship me teaching for doctrine the commandments of men."

Well, since all of it is made up or taken from some other mythology, I would think that it doesn't matter which part of the mythology you decided to believe.
