The karmas (actions) that we perform are responsible for all the happiness and sorrow we experience. When we perform good deeds, we get good results. When we perform bad deeds, we get bad results. Good deeds will result only in good results and bad deeds in bad results. That is why it is said, "Do good, be good, see good; this is the way to God." When you cultivate good thoughts and undertake good activities, you will experience good results. Therefore, remember that the result of our own actions is responsible for all our sorrows and difficulties.

any points from your side?

Expressions of God’s Goodness Hebrews 4:15-16
Imagine someone asking you if God has been good to you. What ideas pop into your head? Do you think about material possessions like a luxury car or a big house? Those things are nice. But even if you don’t have any external signs of His blessing, you can still say God has been good.
God’s goodness is expressed through His mercy. We usually talk about the Lord’s mercy in relation to His salvation plan. It provides for our rescue from slavery to sin. But, God is also concerned when we are suffering. The blind beggar, Bartimaeus, called out to Jesus for mercy, and the Lord responded by healing the man’s eyes (Mark 10:47-52). Nothing in Bartimaeus deserved mercy, but it’s God’s nature to respond to the needs of His children.
God’s goodness is expressed through His grace. None of us, no matter how “good” we might be, deserve God’s favor. And yet, because of His goodness, the Lord took our guilt upon Himself. He suffered the death penalty in our place because we are helpless to save ourselves. When we accept Jesus Christ as Savior, we’re invited to live by God’s grace and constantly receive His help and support.
God’s goodness is expressed through His love. An ocean is like a drop of water when compared to how much the Lord cares for us. No sin we can commit could ever place us beyond the reach of His caring. Because of God’s great love, He sent His Son to die for your sins. Now, He offers you mercy in times of trouble and grace to live by. God is indeed good to you.

I don't call it karma as you do....but we all reap what we sow....if we choose to live in God's will, blessings are heaped on our lives......it is simply consequences...but always know that bad things can happen to very good people.......we, as people, have free will, but God is always in control. This is His world, not ours....I know a lady right now with stage 4 lung cancer, never smoked, worked out every day, etc..and God's best cheerleader and so is her husband. Is her cancer the result of her actions......a BIG NO...furthermore, who is to say that death is not a new wonderful beginning...she is still saying "God is good all the time">

Seriously? God said it's all that neat and easy? Do good things and good things will happen to you? Is there evidence of this in the world? Is there evidence of this in your own life? I think if it were that easy, everyone would be followers of religion. Life, unfortunately, is a great deal more complex than that. Good things don't always happen to good people, and bad people don't always get punished for what they do. I suppose you could argue that rewards and punishments are doled out after death, but unfortunately that makes it very hard to gather evidence and win support.

Strange combination of words; karma and god. A mixture of faiths?
Your philosophy sounds suspiciously like the Buddhist eightfold path.

Maybe christianity is based on Buddhism with some suoerstition thrown in

You forgot Love. Being good is an outcome of Love but if you don't love therefore don't love God, I don't think you can see the kingdom of Heaven. Our good deeds and bad deeds are part of our test to lead us to choose God. He is utmost and glorious. To choose and follow Him and His commandments is the only thing in life to accomplish, all else is failure.

The one and only way to God is through Jesus, my friend. No amount of good deeds and thoughts will get you there without Him.

So what you are saying is that bad things don't happen to good people. If anything bad happens to you, you deserve it.? You must be a bad person. ?
We should be good, we should do good, we should see good, but we are put here to learn lessons. The choices we make here on earth, will determine where we will go when we die. It's not what happens to us that matters...it is how we react to it.

Joh 14:6
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Eph. 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.

My point, You could not be any more wrong if you tried.

Do good, be good, see good; this is a religion of good works.

We can never be "good enough" to earn our way to Heaven.

We need a Saviour; we need the Saviour. He Who has done for us that which we can not do for ourselves.

Ephesians explains it ... we are not saved BY good works, but we are saved UNTO good works. It is not that we do good works in order to be saved; rather, that we "good works", works for Christ, because we have received the Gift of Salvation which He offered to us.

No, salvation is the way to heaven. When you receive salvation, you aspire to do good, be good, and see good. God bless you.
