for the very reason you said- because I care if you go to hell, not only that but I care aobut the life you live here- that it is blessed and full of true peace despite the circumstances you may be in. because loving God means loving my neighbor enough to care about these things and to obey God's commands

Actually, as a Wiccan, I really do not care if you believe in a god or many or which on specifically. The only time I would bother to is if you are being nasty about trying to convince me I had to believe the same way. Agnostic is the faith my mother chose. She has faith, but not in any path already written by any church or religion and she has studied a good number of them. If "the Powers that Be" is as close to any god as you feel a need to get, then live that path. If you need more then I would suggest taking a comparative religion class and learning all you can about different religions, faiths, and Gods and Goddesses. While I am a follower of Cerridwen and Cernunnos, I have close ties to followers of Thor, Athena, Aphrodite, Pele and Odin to name a few.

If you don't, I don't. But if you care about the possibility of a personal relationship with God, I am willing to share the "how-to".

An agnostic believes that there is a God, but that you cannot know Him. The Bible says there is a God, and that He wants to commune with you in a real and personal way.

I have often found that when someone finds something wonderful, it is hard to keep quite about it. There is nothing more wonderful then knowing Jesus but I am not talking about knowing Him like we know some famous movie star. Jesus wants to have a relationship with us. You can find out how to do this below

As far as why I care, there is nothing in this for me other then to know that God said HE is not willing for anyone to perish so I know it pleases HIM each time someone accepts His gift of salvation. I am not asking you to join my church...there is not a church or denomination in the world that can save anyone. Only Jesus can do that.

Christians care because it is our calling to spread the faith and the word. We want everyone to have faith in God and to accept the free gift of salvation that Jesus gave to you. However, I would much prefer for someone to see my lifestyle and see how happy I am in it and then ask me why I am so happy most of the time, then I can introduce God;instead most people want to forceably hold you down and forcefeed you their religion. I say if you want to know, you know how to ask. If you do not want to know then you will have to deal with whatever the consequences may be, which is between you and God.

As a Christian myself, I can say with some certainty that Christians tend to have compassion for those who do not know Jesus Christ as their Savior -- we as Christians DO care about the souls of others.

For myself, my salvation experience was real and tangible -- today, I cannot fathom living my life without Jesus. To me, He is more than just "fire insurance." He loves me and sustains me, brings me joy, peace, and purpose to my life. I have hope and assurance that He will always watch over and protect me and I will spend eternity with Him in heaven one day.

As a Christian, not only am I commanded to share this hope that I have, I am overjoyed to have the opportunity to do so!

I care if you believe in God in the same way that I care if you know about everything that is good for you so your life can be all that is possible.

I don’t care if you believe in a Christian deity .in some ways so do a lot of people without realising including myself. but 2000 years of brain washing can do that to a person
But I do care when Christians try to ram it down my throat.
don’t you think monotheism in the 21 centaury is kind of lame, made up for week minded peasants to control them thousands of years ago and it still is .
and as for hell made up to scare children into doing as there told .
it is a good system to live your life by the10 commandments but the 10 commandments can be broken down into 3 easy to remember words “RESPECT ALL THINGS” without exception. But I will leave you with a passage to perhaps invoke a thought or 2 I don’t want to give out the guys name in case others dismiss his work because of his origins.

And an old priest said, "speak to us of religion"
and he said
have i spoken this day of aught else
Is not religion all deeds and all reflection,
and that which is neither deed nor reflection, but a wonder and a surprise ever springing in the soul, even while the hands hew the stone or tend the loom?
who can separate his faith from his actions or his belief from his occupations?
who can spread his hours before him, saying, “this is for god" and this for myself;
this for my sole and this other for my body"? All your hours are wings that beat through space from self to self.
He who wears his mortality but as his best garment where better naked.
The wind and the sun will tear no holes in his skin.
And he who defines his conduct buy ethics imprisons his song bird in a cage.
The freest song comes not through bars and wires.
And he to whom worshiping is a window, to open but also to shut, has not yet visited the house of his sole whose windows are from dawn to dawn.
YOUR daily life is your temple and your religion. Whenever you enter into it take with you your all.
take the plough and the forge and the mallet and the lute,
the things you have fashioned in necessity or for delight.
For in reverie you cannot rise above your achievements nor fall lower than your failures.
AND take with you all men:
Four in adoration you cannot fly higher than their hopes nor humble yourself lower than their despair.
AND if you would know god, be not therefore a solver of riddles.
rather look about you and you shall see him playing with your children.
AND look into space; you shall see him walking in the clouds, outstretching his arms in the lightning and descending in the rain.
You shall see him smiling in flowers, then rising and waving his hand in the trees

I do care. I believe that all people should be able to feel the peace and harmony that comes with a connection to that which is greater then themselves.

Because it is impossible to love God and at the same time not want His children to come home to Him...It is impossible to feel the love of Christ and not want to share it with others...that's just how love is! I wish you the best in your search for truth....
