Micah 5:1 But you, Bethlehem Ephratah, though you are little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of you shall he come forth to me, he who is to be ruler in Israel; and his origin is from ANCIENT TIME, FROM DAYS OF OLD.

Daniel 7:13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like a son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.
And there he was given dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations and languages, should serve him, his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom one that shall not be destroyed"

IS THIS JUST A GREAT MAN BEING DESCRIBED HERE IN TORAH ?

I believe in the Bible, i just don't see the rapture mentioned any where saying that we will be raptured before all the tribulation. I personally think we will be here threw it all.

get upset and/or mad when I say that the bible is nothing but a stupid, little book full of fairy tales?

Super powers, invisibilty, resurrection, people living for hundreds of years, talking animals, magic, a huge flood, angels, spirits, demons, Satan, an omnipotent man living in the clouds that no one can see and having zero proof of his existence, a utopia up in the clouds, some guy living in the middle of the Earth that tortures people for all eternity, eternal life, and etc..... all seem to things right out of fairy tales. If I went to the fiction, fantasy, and comic book section I could find all of those elements. Yet if I go to to a non-fiction section, I don't find any unless it's some guy talking about the time he did a bunch of LSD and went crazy.

What's the deal with them getting mad and upset at me? It's not very nice and loving of them :(

earlier today i saw an answer that stated " if millions of people believe in something then it must be true". now under this logic every single belief regarding religion must be true. also millions of children believe in santa clause so he must be real.

so again i ask you. does this make any sense?

here is the sad simple truth. the bible was created by human beings thousands of years ago who were superstious and has been changed and revised many times.
Think about it this way.
Adam and Eve, were 2 beings created from god. now. if that is indeed truth then answer these questions.

Where do dinosaurs come from since they arent mentioned in the bible?
If they are, how do those that wrote the bible know they existed since the bible was written thousands of years and not millions of years ago. did god tell them?

Why is there a multitude of ethnic races? if adam and eve were african american, caucasian, or chinese wouldnt we all be of the same ethnicity.

When god created adam and eve, and they had 2 sons. who did the sons reproduce with(after 1 killed the other) to create the 6 billion inhabitants that populate this earth? are you going answer that god had created more after one of the sons ran off?
how are we continentally divided? adam and even couldnt cross continents

John 7:

16Jesus answered, "My teaching is not my own. It comes from him who sent me. 17If anyone chooses to do God's will, he will find out whether my teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my own.

Why is it, that most people refuse to critially think instead of saying something is false?

Why do people say the bible is not true when they have refused to even research it at all?

Why do people try to find a way to disprove the bible but when they can't, they ignore it?

The Bilbe talks about a "Book of Life" that our names will be written in.

Do you really think there is a real book? If so, wouldn't there have to be a "pen of life" and/or "pencil of life" to write in it? (And an "eraser of life" to remove people who lose their salvation.)

Even humans use database software these days to keep track of large amounts of information, so wouldn't God be at least as high-tech as humans? If He does in fact use a "Database Of Life", would it be Microsoft or Oracle?

Realistically, the whole purpose of a book or database is to keep track of something, but couldn't God just keep track in His head? Would he really even need a book or database?

In either case, since about 10 billion people have lived on Earth, even if 10% received salvation that would be 1 billion, so if there were 500 entries per page (very small font!) there would need to be 2 million pages or a huge database.

Seriously though, do you think there is a real "Book"?

I do not mean this to be provocative at all, so I apologise for any offense. A friend told me that Jewish people got their reputation for being tight(apologies for this) because they believe that material possesions at death are counted for in the afterlife. I know nothing about this faith and wonder if there is any truth in this? Is this like the ancient Egyptians being entombed with their valuables. Please constructive educated answers only.

In Islam, the name Israel actually came from a story where Jacob fought or wrestle with Archangel Izrail(the angel of death) and later Jacob won the fight.God ordered him to make a name of his tribe out of the name of the archangel which is now known as the people of Israel which symbolizes strength and bravery of the people since they used the name of the angel of death. Are there any of you among Jews and Christians know this story?share your thoughts with us....

If you are so sure that Jesus and Muhammad haven't been spoken through by the same God, what are the fundamental differences between their teachings? (p.s. I'm sure both J n M clearly stated that they were NOT GOD, just MEN.. but rather in touch if i do say so myself)

Ok since Christ will be coming back sooner than we expect, suppose someone walked up to you and said
I am Christ, follow me.
You have never seen this person before, and they dont look like the traditional portraits of Jesus, since we don't know what he truly looks like. Lets even say he is black, bald, etc. Complete opposite of the traditional version... would you disregard him and consider his actions and statements of being our savior blasphemous, or would you follow this stranger to his destination?

Two things before you answer -

1) A quote from your religious text of choice does not prove it.

2) Bear in mind that most people are the same religion as their parents (or the exact polar opposite).
