Why is it, that most people refuse to critially think instead of saying something is false?

Why do people say the bible is not true when they have refused to even research it at all?

Why do people try to find a way to disprove the bible but when they can't, they ignore it?

I just can't imagine a non believer, I have 2 beautifull children, they are not molicules that have evolved, rather true miracles. My pastor frequently says non belivers are given many miracles, that molicules or man could not do alone as a sort of "find me" call of christ, they just don't listen. I believe non belivers are lazy if i don't read it it is not true, if i sin, no consiquence. I just wish they realized life is a split second in eternity.

Wow, a creationist talking about critical thinking. What has the world come to? I personally lived as a Christian for several years and researched the bible before concluding it wasn't real. This is the thing that gets most Christians out there. They think Atheists and non-believers come from some bizarre alternative
universe where they just reject the bible. Instead, reality is most Atheists and non-believers come from a Christian background. many thought of themselves as "born again" Christians, but this is too harsh for bible apologists to accept.

The Bible has been disproved time and time again.Sure Jesus existed and all that, but that's just about it.Where's Noah's Ark, for example?Where are the remains of all the O.T guys?We can find a 3.5 million year old humanoid, but not 1 3,000 year old skeleton? Please.Use your deity given brain instead of following some antediluvian book. And fyi: I've studied the bible extensively and have over a year of theology courses to my credit, thank you very much.

do you suggest that the eminant christian bible scholars who will tell you of its corruption, that they too have failed to research it?check the preface to the rsv.page 3 paragraph 6.stating that 33 orthodox bible scholars of the highest eminance have found "the king james version to have grave defects. and these defects are so many and so serious that it calls for revision"did the muslims tell us that?did we threaten to withold the oil if they didnt do it? no.not at all.rsv 1971 see for yourself.so we are left to what?just accept that its the word of God or should we critically think like those bible scholars.you will find very few muslims who havent done their homework.we study.your books and ours.and what is it to you if someone thinks its false?you believe dont you?then thats all that matters.

I have read the Bible. None of it, including the part that says "I was written by God" leads me to believe it was written by a supreme being, or that such a supreme being exists.

I have researched what the Bible tells us. Most of it is false, exaggerated, or minimally connected to any historical reality. Flat world? No. World-wide flood? Probably exaggerated from a regional flood. Crucifixion? Yes, crucifixions happened in that time. Evidence of a god? Hardly. The best info we get from the Bible is a glimpse into the day-to-day lives, society, and culture of its writers and editors.

Because the majority in this world tend to do what his ruler or king pleases to do; wrong, harm to others, criticize everything and everyone, so don't be surprised this is to be expected; just like Jesus said; "do not be surprised if the world hate you brother" (1 John 3:13). Mainly evil is ruling this world but it all will come to an end.

You are a believer, and I am not. As I believe nothing the Bible says, then it's not my job to disprove anything. The burden of proof falls on YOU.

they think the burden of proof is on religions to prove it, but me myself i don't have to prove anything, God done showed me He was real so if nobody wants to believe it and hear my miracle stories and the proofs i have of those then thats their choice to stay ignorant, i can't twist their arms , if u looked at my previous questions u can see i already tried but some of these ppl really don't want to learn anything unless u can bring God on a silver platter and even then they probably still will try to deny it.

but u know what i think?
i think that them being here and asking questions and talking to christians is Gods way of trying to get through to them.

I have researched it, I have thought about it critically, and I still think that a good chunck of it is false. The rest of the stories are myths or legends based loosely on real events...
