John 7:

16Jesus answered, "My teaching is not my own. It comes from him who sent me. 17If anyone chooses to do God's will, he will find out whether my teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my own.

John 7:14-19
14 Now about the middle of the feast Jesus went up into the temple and taught. 15 And the Jews marveled, saying, “How does this Man know letters, having never studied?”
16 Jesus[c] answered them and said, “My doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me. 17 If anyone wills to do His will, he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it is from God or whether I speak on My own authority. 18 He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who seeks the glory of the One who sent Him is true, and no unrighteousness is in Him. 19 Did not Moses give you the law, yet none of you keeps the law? Why do you seek to kill Me?”

Context, context, context. He was answering the question of how He spoke with such understanding and was pointing out that He spoke with knowledge because He was speaking as the Father showed Him and was doing His Father's will.

Where's the test to prove the reliabilty of this test? And please do not quote me the bible again. A test has to be external and independent from the thing or person being tested. A suspect cannot be judged by his victim, OR by his accomplice. He has to be judged by an independent unbiased and fair judge. Where's your fair judge for the reliability of the bible, and hence for the real existence of god?

How is this a test? If one believes in Jesus, he automatically believes in God. Jesus' Father sent Jesus to earth. His Father and Jesus are one in God along with the Holy Spirit. Jesus taught about His Father, God, thus Himself. I believe in Jesus and believe in God. There is no test to take to see whether God exists. It's all about one's own faith.

"You do not know me because you do not know my father."

"My sheep hear my voice"

"I am the light and the truth"

By the way....The only test for the individual will be provided by God himself. We are just so absorved in selfishness and desires that we miss it.

If you know the truth, then you know God. If you know God, then you know he who speaks the truth can only come from God.

There is no god. Why do you people keep trying to proove otherwise. Are you trying to proove it to yourselves? I think you are. And I think you are in a constant inner battle with reason vs faith and that is why you dislike non-believers. We remind you that you haven't the courage to face the truth. There is no god.

I believe that. And I don't speculate or think God exists, I KNOW he exists. And I put my faith and my trust in him.
