Faith,I think is valued in all that I am..You have to have faith in something you can't see or then you won't believe..Faith is the substance or things hoped for,the things that are not seen.I have faith that my children will love me always..

I feel in school or any place that has different religions or people that are non-believers,,I feel they should allow those children 10 to 15 mintues a day to do whatever they choose in prayer or if they don't pray just sit a think,,whatever I don't think they have the right to make someone not be able to search for thier beliefs just because he may offend some people..Thats why we all live in a world of difference, not everyone will agree but we all need to give respect to others..

Ya, I have to say I was taught generation to generation but thats not why I am a Christain,,I lived in the world for many years and I had hate, pain and lots of suffering in it..Everyone has the right to do what they want,I don't judge like that,I will still love you no matter who you are,I would love to see questions of why some Christains do this or that because I work very hard on not trying to belittle someone or hurt them in anyway,I don't like to be treated like that, why would I treat someone like that..I say to each there own..

My faith is what I choose...you don't have to live it but I choose to..That doesn't make me better than you..You have ideals and things that are different than mine I am sure of but I am not going to change just to fit your needs and desires..My desire is to do the will of my father and I know it doesn't make sense to you probably but it makes alot of sense to me..

I am a Christian, but can anyone here tell me why non-believers think that christians are judging them, or other religions? For me myself, I am just happy to share what i know, but i give respect to those who wish to share a different religion. It doesn't mean I accept it, but I'm not judging either. Only God can do that.

Why can't Christians accept other religions besides their own? Why can't other religions worship God another way besides how Christians do it? Shouldnt it be that as long as you worship God, thats all that matters? Why must it be your way or no way? What gives Christains the right to judge and tell others how to live just because they dont live the way you people do? Can't you just worship and and believe without being a Christian? You know what you know because it was taught to you from generations to generations. Just like racism was taught. It was brought down through the years, but does it make it right?

When you think about the question of religion in schools (pledge of allegiance, school directed prayer, science curriculum), do you factor in the beliefs and possible freedoms of individuals from other religions into your opinions? I.e. when you say children should be taught creation, do you think they also should be taught native american tribal creation stories, greek mythology, evolution, etc.? Do you feel all children should be lead in Islamic prayers up to five times per day during school time as well as Christian, Wiccan, Buddhist, etc. prayers or reflection? Etc.

Thanks.

I will paraphrase what I have just answered in another question. So here's my question to you:

Imagine the whole of religion is on trial (which is pretty much what happens here). Many Christians answer with quotes from the bible. However, a suspect (Religions, if you follow my trial simile) cannot be judged by his victim (unbelievers), OR by his alleged accomplice (believers, the bible, etc.). He has to be judged by an independent unbiased and fair judge. Where's your fair judge for the reliability of the bible, and hence for the real existence of god?

This may not go for all 'believers' but:

Why would you dismiss common-sense, and modern science in favor of blind hope... I mean sure it feels alot better, because you feel important. But why dismiss the things that if you actually gave a chance to learn, you would understand?

Why do you think faith is valid regarding religion, when assuredly you do not consider it valid in other matters?
