I just wondered how come there is about 90% God bashing going on toward Christians, and people saying Christians are forcing there beliefs on them? I see people ask some pretty good questions on this site, and want answers to there problems, and just get shot down by by people who don't have the same belief. May be if the question doesn't concern you, then why shoot them down with ignorance?

We do not all worship in the same way, but some form of religious faith is followed by millions of different people all over the world. Naturally, peoples beliefs and faiths affect their attitudes and actions. The history of the worolds different religions has often affected the history of nations themselves. Untill we learn to respect each others beliefs, we are always gonna have religious conflicts.

When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a pleasing odor for the Lord - Lev.1:9. The problem is my neighbors. They claim the odor is not pleasing to them. Should I smite them?
I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in Exodus 21:7. In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her?
I know that I am allowed no contact with a woman while she is in her period of menstrual uncleanliness - Lev.15:19- 24. The problem is, how do I tell? I have tried asking, but most women take offense.
Lev. 25:44 states that I may indeed possess slaves, both male and female, provided they are purchased from neighboring nations. A friend of mine claims that this applies to Mexicans, but not Canadians. Can you clarify? Why can't I own Canadians?
I have a neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2 clearly states he should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill him myself?
and there's more i just ran out of room.

portray mary and joseph. Afterwards all the members of the church were up in arms about it, half were outraged, and half thought they just had to comment on how lovely it was that they had used black people, and really make a big deal out of it. The whole time I was thinking, why does it matter, why do you have to make a big deal either way? It was 2 human beings walking down the aisle, thats it. whats your opinion?

I'm Christian, and not doubting God & His Word, but am just curious how others work out the dicotomy between the time frames spelled out in the Bible, vs. those that can be scientifically demonstrated, through archeology, palentology, geology, etc. How does the micro-evolution we can clearly see play into all of this?

He is only 5 years old. He just started to talk about Jesus and all that stuff. Although I want my son to be able to learn both religions, how can I approach him and teach him Islam without confusing him?

I do not want him to feel overwhelmed. I want him to understand that his religion is Islam, however there are people out there that believe in different religions and that we should respect them.

Please answer this question seriously. If you are not Muslim and don't understand my dilemma, please keep your comments to yourself.

Thanks...

God Has Not Revealed Himself to Me, So He Must Not Exist
Is God's lack of direct revelation to humans a good proof that He does not exist?
A teacher is using the "scientific method" to teach the class about evolution...

TEACHER: Tommy do you see the tree outside?
TOMMY: Yes.
TEACHER: Tommy, do you see the grass outside?
TOMMY: Yes.
TEACHER: Go outside and look up and see if you can see the sky.
TOMMY: Okay. (He returned a few minutes later) Yes, I saw the sky.
TEACHER: Did you see God?
TOMMY: No.
TEACHER: That's my point. We can't see God because he isn't there. He doesn't exist.

A little girl spoke up and wanted to ask the boy some questions. The teacher agreed and the little girl questioned the boy.

LITTLE GIRL: Tommy, do you see the tree outside?
TOMMY: Yes.
LITTLE GIRL: Tommy do you see the grass outside?
TOMMY: Yessssss (getting tired of the questions this time).
LITTLE GIRL: Did you see the sky?
TOMMY: Yessssss.
LITTLE GIRL: Tommy, do you see the teacher?
TOMMY: Yes
LITTLE GIRL: Do you see the teacher's mind?
TOMMY: No.
LITTLE GIRL: Then according to what we were taught today in school, she must not have one!

Violent actions by some Muslims are strongly reported all over the world while racist and violent Christians (do not mention Israeli massacres in Palestine and Lebanon) are under reported or at best not linked to the religion of the offender. Why? No one said that Christianity is violent after Abou Gharib prison crimes in Iraq done by the USA solders, no one says that Judaism is violent after (I can not count the number of massacres done by Israelis). We should try to get to a common understanding that there are violent and fanatic INDIVIDUALS within each and every religious group. The only way out is to work together for peace, reconciling and mutual understanding.

What's the reason Catholics pray to Mary? The Bible never says to pray to Mary but only to God in the first commandment.

I seem to remember somewhere in the Bible it talks about the "seed of the women" so at that time they knew that the women contributed to a conception. In the gospel, it says that Mary was conceived by the Holy Spirit, so Joseph was only the legal father, not the genetic father. But what about Mary?

let the dead in the spirit bury the dead in the physical. Is it possible that when Adam called Eve the mother of all the living, he meant the mother of all the spiritually alive? Is it possible that when God said, "let us make man in our image." He meant with His behaviors and practices and not with His shape and form?
