If you believe in one deity then you are a monotheist but technically you're atheistic towards the existence of any other gods. You sound like a deist... do you think that humans can ever possess definitive knowledge regarding the existence of deities? If not, you're an agnostic deist.

Everyone goes through a phases of confusion; Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, athiests, etc. You're no different.

Athiests don't believe in God, nor do they believe that there is a god of anything. I think the word you are looking for is "agonstic," which means that you think there is a higher power, but you are unaware of what, or who, it is.

Ghandi was an interesting guy... He said that he followed the teachings of the Bible and found they were the best course of action in dealing with the British. He also said that if he were to ever meet a Christian, that he would become one. Unfortunately, he never claimed to have ever meeting one before his death.

Unlike Ghandi, you are surrounded by Christians. All you have to do now is find the one that resonates the most with you and meet them.

P.S. - I'm Christian, but I take a different path from others around me. If you don't trust anyone or believe anything and only trust yourself; then follow yourself. That's all you can do, if you cannot trust anything.

Why did you get baptized in the first place? You obviously weren't soundly saved before you got baptized. To be baptized means that you are born-again and that now you are acknowledging to the world that you are dead to sins and alive with Christ. Because you don't believe this than you probably shouldn't have gotten baptized. You don't know anything about the Bible otherwise you wouldn't have said ignorant things about God being a machine, alien, nature or wtv. To say that you respect Jesus is to confirm what the demons say about Jesus. For even they respected Him before He silenced them before tearing them out of those they possessed. Jesus is God. He fulfilled the Law and the Prophets. He fulfilled over 300 prophecies concerning his life, death, and resurrection. You say you don't follow anyone but the Bible says you are either a child of God or a child of wrath. So if you are not a child of God, then you must be a child of wrath. You are deceived by Satan, for he is the prince of this world. You must be born-again to know the truth about God. If you are not spiritually reborn you cannot enter the kingdom of heaven, therefore you stay in your sins and stay under the control of the devil.

There are so many religions in this world, every religion claiming they've found their true god or prophet etc. which one should we follow? Well most people have faith in a religion which was being taught to them when they were young, a time when they were not developed enough yet to question anything, or offered any choices. If you believe in somthing, to youself that thing exists. If you don't believe, then that thing does not exist. Religion has everything to do your own mind and soul. I just think that no one should use religion as an excuse to hurt other people in any way.

You are not an atheist (a=no theist=god) because you believe in someone out there as a God. There's people who still try to understand God, but He's to omnipotent and powerful to be understood. For Christians there's the Bible which can guide us to salvation.

Are you serious? Your religious. If you don't believe in God your an atheist, if you do your not. You may have begun to doubt Christianities narrow view but you are religious. Keep seeking and you will find the path just don't expect to see anyone but God at the end.

I'd call you an agnostic. Although the term is usually used to describe a person who does not know whether a god exists, I would also apply it to a person who does not know the nature of a god. The term comes from the Greek, "to not know".

You're spiritual.
When people ask you to classify yourself, tell them that you are very much the same as they are, but different.
You could say "universalist" or "unitarian" but people can attach negative connotations to anything they don't understand, so those aren't foolproof.
So for a short version, you might have to be flexible and tell people something you think they can accept. If they'll listen to the longer version, you might say something like "I believe in God, but I don't believe in religion."
Works for me.
Sometimes.

Well you're not an atheist... the only requirement of atheism is that you don't believe there are any gods. If you really need to label yourself I'd go with "confused."

Leaning toward agnostic.

Stick around here and read as many answers as you can. The ones you find yourself agreeing with the most vehemently may point you in the direction you need to go.

Happy trails! : )
