Christians and jews know that god sends messengers to the people on earth to show them the truth...and i don't know if the christians/jews know this...but Muhammad (pbuh) was a descendant of Abraham. In many verses of the quran, God tells us that he has sent down the Torah (Jewish scripture) and the Bible (for christians) and if you were to read the Quran, the way it ia written in, is very similiar to the Bible and Torah, only makes more sense because it has never been changed or corrected...Muhammad has not gained anything worldly by being a prophet...He got beatten, he was assaulted, he became poor, even till now the people are saying all the bad things about him...it's really clear he wasn't looking for anything worldly?! When ever god sends the people a messenger they do not believe in him if he says something they do not desire...Jesus was killed by the Jews for not saying something they wanted......same for Muhammad, many do not believe him because he doesn't match their desires.

not all the worlds population, some 6.5 billion peeps, are either muslim, or christian. there are others, n other beliefs, in existence, we get on with our life, in peace, we do what we must to survive, n provide for our families. the last thing we want is to wake up one morning n find we're dead cos you lot can't accept your differences, lighten up the god of the christians n jews, are probably good mates with the god of muslims n islams..for all we know their bosom buddies with buddha.SO WHY CANT WE ALL live n let live please. ???

I sure think so. I love the society and culture section, or atleast use to love it. Now it is filled with religious questions mainly. There are so many that I think religion needs its own broad category-all by itself. What do you think and how would one go about proposing this idea to yahoo?
I do understand that it is a subsection but I believe it needs to just be a regular category with other religions and all as subsections of it.

IM sick of NOT hearing the truth. Judgment is upon our nation and ministers are afraid to warn the USA. It has to be now because 911 and katrina were nothing to whats on the horizon unless america repents. Their is nothing but mockery about this subject,,,,its worse in the churches i`ve been to. I hear the Holy Spirit telling me my country is in trouble. I have few people who hear Him to ,,but ya know thats how jeremiah suffered in his day.

people use to say religion preach love but one two persons of different religions fall in love as it they have committed the great sin of the world..why it like that??Moreover the parents start talking of conversion.

and all this bloodshed in the name of freedom, God. They were suppose to go after the americans for invading Iraq but what we see mostly is Shia,s, Sunni,s, Kurds killing each other. Even guyz like Bin Laden are trying to unite muslims against the West but it seems that muslims will continue to kill till there is no one left.

Islam dose not exept that Jesus Christ is the son of God,the mediator, the saviour of man kind , the saviour of Ishmael . The Spirit of Christ will mend Ishmael, will mend muhammud, will mend/ complete the muslim faith., They , like us , will be transformed, by the renewal of our collective mind, unto the likeness of Christ, who is the likeness of, and is indeed the door way to, the Father.

God's revelations have been sent to humankind through prophets and messengers. He has spoken through prophets to all peoples in history, but messengers - such as Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad - have universal significance. Jesus is revered as the greatest of all before Muhammad, but he is not the son of God. Muhammad did not preach a unique faith, but summed up all previous revelations, and is thus the Last Prophet for all humanity. if this is difinitive truth, then surely muhammad is the seciond coming of the jewish prophet christ, so why the need to kill each other over an interpretation.

I have to go to church today. I love the worship and the people there, but i have to sit in front of a message of watered down gospel. When i go to church i need to hear the truth not just half of the bible. I need to hear about my sin and i need conviction, not blessings and prosperity all the time. YES God does prosper us and He blesses us. But Jesus talked more about hell then prosperity. 2timothy4-3,For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine,but according to their own desires,because they have itching ears,they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned away from the truth........Jesus said the greatest prophet was John the baptist. He lived in the desert and wore ragged clothes and ate locust, he eventually was put in prison with his head cut off. instead of handing out the hard message and meat of the word they are handing out candy canes,and sweet honey. It wasnt sweet when peter was imprisoned.

how could jesus(PBUH) sit on the right hand side of God then christians say he(PBUH) is God?how he (PBUH)call God and he is still God?how they say God is omnipresent and say jesus(PBUH) is at his right hand side?how be omnipresent?
