The only sin committed there is against the victim who did not have any rights in the situation. If they so choose to have an abortion that is their choice and it is between themselves and whom they choose to include in that decision. Otherwise, it is nobody elses business.

Absolutely. The means of how the mother became impregnanted and how the life was created doesn't have any bearing on whether or not stopping a life (abortion) is a sin or not. This is essentially the same argument people have about the death penalty for murders. Abortion IS a sin. But we serve a forgiving God.

Yes. The intentional killing of an innocent child is an abomination before God, regardless of the circumstances of that child's conception. Obviously this would be an extremely difficult time for the mother of the child. But Jesus never said that doing what is right would be easy. Why should a child pay with his/her life for the sin of his/her father? Besides, abortion is so damaging to a woman that the mother would in effect be raped twice, and have to live with that additional trauma the rest of her life.

If you believe in the concept of sin, then you believe in the soul. So I guess it becomes a question of when the unborn get a soul. If the unborn has a soul, then I suppose from their perspective, abortion is wrong regardless of how conception occurred. Perhaps if pregnancy, birth and motherhood were honoured conditions in our culture, having a child as the product of rape would not be frought with so much angst. Perhaps the woman who was raped would be able to separate that act from the conception and accept giving birth; be repelled by the notion of abortion. Seems to me the child should not have to be executed for its father's sin, it's mother's inability to face the trauma of her rape, and society's inability to embrace all children.
Seems to me the whole notion of abortion and the perceived need to retain or eliminate this procedure would be a thing of the past if society could accept all children and support all mothers.

Why would the fact that they were raped make any difference? It's still a life conceived just like any other child. If the woman can't handle raising her own child (because its still her child, even if she didn't plan/want/deserve it), she can give it up for adoption. Abortion is always a sin. It is the premeditated murder of a child.

Some would say yes, but I say no. I believe in destiny, I don't believe in coincidence, I know that God has a plan, and as low as it may sound I think that every entity on the world by whatever horrible means it spawned from, including unborn babies, should have a chance to live.

i was raped and i got pregnant and gotten an abortion even though I know it was wrong it is up to the person if they want the baby or not but if she keeps the baby it will be a reminder of what happened to her for me I thought it was wrong but I did it anyway because I didnt want the reminder of that my child being a product of rape and i didnt want to end up hating my child because of that fact so i did it even though it was wrong to me but I believe it is a sin because it is ending a life

every woman has the right to determine when they want to bring a child into a loving relationship. In the case of rape will having the child help anyone? Its unlikely, so she should be free to decide, for herself, without any censure from busybodies

it is a sin... even if the person is raped... ur killin a life which is born may be to make some difference... by giviing birth to it, ur helpin god and he will pay you back some how... but by killin a life ur doing something not for your good... iknow its the future of this person.. but as i said the true god will help you out.. and as one door closes, the other opens... there is always a way out.. the person of her life should love her for who she is and not her body... hope you get it...
