I wonder which "one God", of Law or Grace,
these devils "believe", and also "tremble" at?
Didn't even Moses "exceedingly fear & quake"?
Wasn't it because his Law was a "great terror"?
Wasn't it a great terror to "Israel" of Jacob/Israel?

Let them, who would be and/or remain ignorant, be and/or remain ignorant. Let them all have "their end" shall be according to "their works", since they "know not" life + death(does NOT end with life).
Let us, who would not be nor remain ignorant, by know-ing the truth makes you free of believing mosaic lies; Let us go on (by leave-ing law law prinicigles); Go on unto perfection: Grace with you all. Amen.

I am very glad you brought this question up. This is what I have been trying to tell people, If I could shake your hands, I would, Yes James 2:19The devil believes there is a God & he trembles, So just Believeing does not save someone, Turn to mark 16:16 He that Believeth & is Baptized shall be saved. Satan was never baptized, Now back to James 2:20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that Faith WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD. Satan works is not the works of God, But of evil. Thank You again for such a good question. And the reason satan trembles, is that he knows his outcome, The lake of Fire.

Salvation has always been by Grace...nothing new there..even all the way back to Adam and Eve..though they transgressed and failed to seek forgiveness or to even confess, yet instead lay blame outside themselves..there the redemption process began in the shedding of blood to cover their "nakedness". The "curses" that follow are consequences of sin and the laws created so that we would know where we transgress so that we can rightfully choose and so the drop creates the ripples that travel outward to this day. Perhaps the Devil trembles because he initiated the fall and there is no grace or law for him to redeem himself. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is the God of the Cross...through Him, by Him and for Him were all things made and it is by Him that we live, move and have our being. So I would fear first because fear gives reason for pause and in doing so is the beginning of Wisdom first in knowing what God could do but then following shows clearly what He chooses through His grace and mercy not to do..which is to destroy us. Instead there is love and compassion and the striving earnestly with us to that point at which He gave His own life...pretty powerful. Love in Christ, ~J~

DEVILS KNOW JESUS
Matt.8:28 And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way. Matt.8:29 And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time? Matt.8:30 And there was a good way off from them an herd of many swine feeding. Matt.8:31 So the devils besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine.
John 17:3,5,24; 20:17; Know thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou has sent. Jesus was with God before the world was.
Job 38:4-7 all angels there when earth became the focus for habitation.
Matt:26:53; Rev.5:11 thousands and thousands of angels.

He is both law and grace.laws to LIVE by, and grace to give us time to repent for the laws we break.
the devils believe because God created them too. and know full well He can take'em out. i'd tremble also
moses knew who God is and His awesome power He is no respecter of any man
great terror only in the aspect that w/o Him they could have nothing and by defying Him He would turn away from them taking what they received and possibly losing His protection and further blessings

There is no devil, there is evil and dark entities.
God is a loving God and he forgives us always when it is in our hearts. We travel on our path and we live life and we learn and experience life.
Men wrote a lot into the bible to control the people and keep them on the path to God. But they didn't need to. Jesus had the right idea he was the son of God as we all are. No Devils just evil in the world but it makes me love god more

To start with
you have to get your logic in perspective
="One God" means one God and not "many" one Gods!!
=Yes devils do believe in the one God,
=and, yes Moses and Jacob/Israel (God bless them) do fear God because they know, more than others, God almighty's grateness.
= Finally, devine Laws are devine, not terrors.
= =This is explicitly clear in the holy Quran= =
Read it.

In ancient Jewish tradition the devil or Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.
The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.
Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.
Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.
Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.
Love and blessings

I think that you look into things way too deeply. Keep in mind that all of these 'sacred scriptures' were written by people thousands of years ago. I bet you cant read Shakespeare and understand it and he died only several hundred years ago, so what makes you think you understand something thats thousands of year old.

Is Don H an idiot or what? God didn't assign Satan to do evil. Lucifer, who is a fallen angel, exercised his free will. God allows each of us the priviledge of free will. What we do with our lives is solely up to us. Peace and God bless.

You all realize that people back then had unrestricted access to opium and ate or smoked the stuff to have visionary dreams, don't you. Most of the bible was written by people who smoked pot or ate opium
