I sure think so. I love the society and culture section, or atleast use to love it. Now it is filled with religious questions mainly. There are so many that I think religion needs its own broad category-all by itself. What do you think and how would one go about proposing this idea to yahoo?
I do understand that it is a subsection but I believe it needs to just be a regular category with other religions and all as subsections of it.

It would be nice in a way for it to have its own section, but then I think it would end up chopped into subsections of religions, which has both good and bad sides. Personally I rather like the big mix of religions we get, but I can also see where separate categories would be, well neater.

As a consequence of the religion the culture is built on it.
A living faith in the Bible, this is giving to the Scriptures of the Old and New Testament en their original languages . Today another culture is born in the comunication wolrd. A Global culture with its own faith and religious rites, behavious etc.

Changing categories would make no difference whatsoever. If going through several "links" to get to it is a problem, then link the religion category to your Yahoo Page and you can get there with one click. Or make the religion page a favorite on your browser. We already have to wade through too many "cranks" in order to get to serious religious questions.

there are three ways one can gain control in a Culture and Society -- Religion -- Political -- Military. therefore the sub-category will work just fine.

i know u like to improve the way religion operates but nobody will take any actions there is so many diffrent opinions on religions and people divided and and scrambled like the eggs on frying pan

i agree, it takes up to much room, and theres alot of ppl hu want jus religion and have to go thru all these other sections and it's very annoying
