You can take God out of my school
You can make me listen to you
You can take God out of the pledge
But you can't take God out of my head

Listen to me closely, lend me your ear
The substance of my statement lets you know I'm sincere
Government officials, shapers of the land
I've to to tell you something you need to understand

You can't take God away from me
You can take my life, my land, my liberty
Lock me up, I'll still be free
'Cause you can't take God from me

You can take God out of the law
You can make me listen to ya'll
You can take God out of the start
But you can't take God out of my heart

Listen to me closely, lend me your ear
The substance of my statement lets you know I'm sincere
Government officials, shapers of the land
I've to to tell you something you need to understand

You can't take God, you can't take God away

the song-He's Got the whole world in His hands.

Jesus saith-I am the way the truth and the life, no one cometh to Heaven but by me. John 14 vs 6

Isaiah 52vs12-53vs12 He will be exaulted but first marred more than any man. He will be despised by his people, and lay down his life to make atonement for all our sins. He will die with the wicked and be burried with the rich. He will see his spiritual seed and prosper."

Jesus says that while we belong to him we have to chose to let him into our heart to save us from sin and be our friend-yet no matter what he loves us uncondionally.

till then he saith 'YE ARE OF YOUR FATHER THE DEVIL'

DOESNT MEAN DRUGS AND ALL BAD-ONE LIE SEPARATES US FROM THE HOLINESS OF GOD FOREVER -UNLESS WE REPENT-WE BROKE THE PERFECT LAW-Messiah sinless kept it for us-who will you believe-your stinkin thinkin -like i once did as a Jew or the Messiah who is totally true???? peace to you -im prayin for u and pray for me too-thanks

I have had 3 people in my life pass away that I was very close to and after each of them passed away I have had very realistic dreams that they were trying to tell me they were fine/no longer in pain/happy. I have had numerous people pass away in my life but I have only had dreams about these three people. Each dream made me feel at peace. Can some explain?

With the Muslim envoy to discuss with the Pope about his comments do you think they will get anywhere... Perhaps they could discuss the issue of a nice mid day meal of say a roast pork that even perhaps the pope can slice and serve them.. Washed down with some fine wine it is always best to work out poroblems on a full stomache. Afterwards depending on how things go perhaps the Pope can hear their confession?

What would you do if jesus came to you in a dream and said that you'd been taught many incorrect things about him, his message, and who he was, and then went on to show you what he really meant, which was very different from what they tought in church.

things like, that he wasn't the *ONLY* way to god, but that he was providing an example of a good way, as a role model, not god incarnate or the messiah.

I am NOT saying this happened to me, per se. I am asking what the christians(mainly) would do if this happened to them.

I expect that most would deny it being real, and blame the devil or some such. which I find truly ironic.

if you would NOT belive it, ... what would it take to make you belive it? that is, if jesus or god himself (depending on how you see it) coming to you personally wouldn't do the trick to show you....

If we are a nation led by right wing "Christian's", how can a show which glorifies adultery be so popular? I personally can't stand the show, especially the number one whore Eva.

Each Sunday, my friend and I go to church together. Now, while I love going to church with her, she is late all the time. For instance, last Sunday, she was out of town, & I went to church alone. I made it there very early, therefore I was on time, & didn't have to disrupt others, searching for a seat. Our church has a very large membership, and fills up very quickly, so getting there early is a must. I like to leave at least 30 minutes early. Well, this Sunday, she is back home, and I am ready to leave now, but when I called to see what time she could be ready, she wants to leave 15 minutes before the service is supposed to start! I love my friend dearly, and I don't want to leave her, but I just cannot stand getting there late, & not being able to find a seat. She is not depending on a ride, as neither of us drives to church. Our church is right down the street, so we walk together. She might get mad, but would it be wrong of me to leave her& meet her at the service later?

Throughout my childhood I was too lazy to honor my mother and father. When I turned 21 I realized I had a problem so I went and got some medicine for anxiety and to keep your mind from going into chaos.

Now I appreciate my mom more and I love her so much I don't want to see her go anytime soon. I regret all the times I disobeyed her(only the times when asked to do chores).

The bible says children if you honor your father/mother you'll have a long life here on earth. Well I didn't really honor them that much until this past year. So will I die sooner than the rest just because I honored them too late?

The only times I have struggle of honoring my mom is going to church with her because I don't like that church(I liked you all's advice on my other question).

So is it too late to honor your father and mother?

Now that I'm an adult what are some other ways to honor my mom/dad even if I don't agree with their suggestions and stuff?
