No, baptism is the public profession of what you've already done ... decided to follow Jesus.
If you were to die before your baptism, you'd still go to heaven. It's what is in your heart that matters, not what the public knows.

Believers are baptized by the Spirit, meaning believers receive the Holy Ghost by varying degrees. You will find the Book of Acts to be very helpful. Baptism by water is a symbol of public acknowledgment of belief. Many religions believe that Baptism by water is necessary, but the Bible does not specifically state this. Baptism by water is an interpretation. Baptism by the Holy Ghost is not.

Yes you DO,, there is no other to enter into the kingdom of God. You must be baptized for the remission of your sins, in the name of the Father, and of the SON, and the name of the HOLY SPIRIT... You CAN-NOT ,go to heaven any other way, Many will tell you only believe- say the sinners prayer,or something like this>>>>> IT IS WRONG-IT IS FALSE!!!! IF you want to go to HEAVEN,, do it the right way,,, GOD'S WAY!!!! Be baptized for the remission of your sins, and join his Christian family, His sons and daughters, there IS NO OTHER WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Baptism into Christ is a wonderful experience, but, no, there is no magic ticket into God's love. Any God worthy worshiping would not be so mean as to condemn wonderful people who were never baptized. No group of human beings are gatekeepers to mercy. Love and mercy are God's free gift to all. Seek God because you seek a heaven for all of God's creatures, not because you fear a hell created by human imagination and fear.

Baptism is an outward symbol of an inward decision. It is the decision to live for Christ and be "reborn"- lead a new life from that moment on- that leads you into heaven... not what you do, but what God has done and what you decide based on that. (Saved not by works, but by faith, however- faith without works is dead)

Let me put it this way. I won't condemn any who are'nt baptized, but, given what the Bible says about it, I would'nt ignore or refuse it if I were you. God, however, is the final judge. I can only say what the Bible says.

yes! Mark 16:16 He who believes AND is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.
1 Peter 3:21 Corresponding to that, baptism now saves you--not the removal of dirt from the flesh, but an appeal to God for a good conscience--through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

That is a question for God. Only He can decide who will be with Him in Heaven.

No.
It is an outward/public profession of your faith.
It is that faith which gets you to heaven.
