I am

Purpose of life: We are to end our suffering through meditation (Introversion) and compassion for our fellow human beings (extroversion)

Redemption: Not possible

"By oneself is evil done; by oneself is one defiled. By oneself is evil left undone; by oneself is one made pure. Purity and impurity depended on oneself; no one can purify another"
- Buddha -

We believe that the goal is to reach Nirvana and become pure, not to try to erase past sins.

"Freed by full realization and at peace, the mind of such a man is at peace, and his speech and action peaceful. He has no need for faith who knows the uncreated, who has cut off rebirth, who has destroyed any opportunity for good or evil, and cast away all desire. He is indeed the ultimate man"
- Buddha -

Sin: We believe that "sin", as defined by Christianity, obstructs the path to enlightenment.

Confession: Don't have it, Buddha believes that the only way to end sin is to not commit it in the first place.

Reincarnation: Yes, may seem simple, but the states of mind and bardo visions are very hard to explain, it is best to read the "Tibetan Book of the Dead" in order to understand. Get one with a comentary if you do read it.

Family: Ties of family should not bind us, we should love every human being as much as humanly possible.

God: An agnostic religion, Buddhism neither believes nor disbelieves in any higher power.

Too much to go into here but the basics are to free yourself from desire and materialism by adhering to a set of moral precepts which encourage living a moral lifestyle and being tolerant to others. As long as we create karma through our wrong actions we reincarnate and to live in the material world is suffering, so the ultimate aim is to create no more karma, end the cycle of birth, death and rebirth and ascend to a state of oneness with the divine (nirvana).

When The Great Buddha comes,we will all be saved.
We will then sit around in a circle and look at each others belly buttons.
The Great Buddha will then give a SHOUT!
OK everybody think about you belly buttons! When you are done go sit in a corner and take a nap.
